    I try asking for my room to be serviced because I like my room to be neat . On the third day I got service cause I requested it they also told me I had to leave the room because they would not service it until the customer is out of the room. Something I never experienced then I thought they would service one day yes one day no automatically when I asked they told me I had to let them know in advance, when I did let them know in advance that day that i wanted room service every other day between 10:00 am and 10:30 am because i had things to do they never showed up. I also have a dog so they need to service the room when I’m around or else they won’t service it, so they never showed up and told me I had to wait till they had time, when ever. I had to waste my whole day waiting for service to come or else there is no service for the room .. I was also told they have one girl servicing 30 rooms so if you want your room to be serviced, good luck, they don’t entice you having your room serviced and they have the Hiltons name as a franchise.. I’m very disappointed when they tell you they’re gonna come between 10: 00am and 10: 30 am I asked in advance because of the dog . I believe that they don’t want to service the room.. obviously for a week they want you to stay in a filthy room.. also expect you to do your own room.. but they charge as much as other places that give you excellent service.     Dishonest Housekeeping

    I stayed at this property over New Year’s 2026 and accidentally left my flat iron and hairbrush in the room. The flat iron is worth $150 and was purchased three months ago. I contacted the hotel the day after checkout and was asked to call back multiple times due to a lack of information and supervisor availability. On my third call, I was informed that nothing had been found in my room. The housekeeper or whoever went into my room after my departure kept my flatiron. Unprofessional and dishonest staff.

    Horrible toliet from hell.

    Horrible plumbing system, had to move rooms toliet overflowed from my daughter peeing. The next room had flushing problems. They kept sending a housekeeper instead of the plumber to plunge but not make any repairs. If you value your peace and want to freely use the restroom at your hotel without having a cursing housekeeper come and complain about having to attempt to fix your toilet, spend your money else where. Avoid this hotel! Mind you after my 2 year old heard the house keeper/ plumber lady repeat "F*k " the 4 times she did as well. Thanks to this hotel.     Toilet Distress

    On my last night stay, after dinner I arrived back to my room around 11lm to find my toilet had overflowed and my bathroom floor was filled with water..I went downstairs to inform the front desk and was expecting someone from maintenance to come to my room to remedy the situation The lady at the front desk brought a plunger and some towels and told me to use the towels to lay on the floor and leave the plunger outside my door when I was finished.Fortunately I was able to utilize my family's restroom through the night When I went downstairs this morning, the overnight desk personnel had not made an maintenance request or incident report While I do understand some situations, the callous and non caring attitude has made be vow" Never again Hampton Inn Linden"Never again and I sent an email to the hotel's GM this morning and have not received a reponse General Manager, Guest Services / Front Office at Hampton Inn Linden, responded to this review P5845SBantonior, we're genuinely concerned to hear about your experience related to an issue with the bathroom.     Lower quality experience than most Hampton Inns

    We stayed here planning to take train into NYC but uber was reasonable for trip in (55 plus tip, 85 plus tip back) so did that. Overall, a lower quality experience than most Hampton Inns. Property did not respond to messages sent through Expedia booking site prior to arrival. Arrived at 10 pm and room assigned had not been cleaned, so had to go back to reception to get another one. Second room was good but had big paint scuffs on inside door corner showing lack of maintenance. Biggest problem was only 1 of 2 elevators worked and had to walk down stairs from 4th floor when it didn’t work one time. Breakfast - they constantly ran out of items and only refilled if asked. Only had 1 waffle maker with 20 minute line which they could easily fix by adding a second. Bacon was crispy and excellent if you could get it. Yogurt was only put out occasionally and just set on counter unchilled. OJ very watered down. Front desk staff were nice. Advice: Stay somewhere nicer and just Uber into NYC rather than use train.
