    Staff was both welcoming and helpful with any questions. Good midtown location, rooms clean and comfortable with nice toiletries, less to pack! Rooms not spacious but that is to be expected in NYC. Good value for money. Valet parking nice to have, very efficient ...SUV for 24 hours was $80.00.Would return again to this hotel.     The Hotel was very hospitable for my little cousin staying here in New York. Hannah at front desk was very kind to us when checking out. She helped with holding our luggage. Definitely worth staying!     We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn since my niece and nephew were in the 2026 St Patrick’s Day Parade. Due to flight issues, we arrived at the hotel around 1:30am. We were greeted and quickly checked in. Elevators were pretty quick and we were off to our room on the 16th floor. Our king bed room was on the small side but that is to be expected in NYC where space is at a premium. Everything was clean and quiet. The a/c and shower worked fine. The lighting wasn’t the greatest though. Only other complaint was the ice machine on 16 never worked. I had to go to 18th floor to get ice. Hotel is located very close to a subway station as well. On check out day, we were promptly checked out and away we went.     Friendly, clean, efficient, well-maintained property. Very reasonable rates when I was there. Walkable to/from both Penn Station and Grand Central and everything in between. Near multiple subway lines and right on the 4-5-6. Small but surprisingly pleasant/useful lobby area with tvs, work space, and clean bathrooms.     Don't Eat Breakfast Here

    Room was clean and and tiny, but well designed. Comfy bed. Appreciated refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker (although we didn't use them.) $400+ per night off-season price was high (even by New York standards.) We were disappointed with our prepaid breakfast. Inedible food served in a yucky, smelly barroom. After our first morning, we ate at nearby diner despite having prepaid for breakfast at the Hilton.
