    Reeks of cigarettes with toddler and grandparents, no help.

    At the (nonsmoking) Home2Suites Hilton, our room reeks of cigarettes. My parents and our 2-year-old are already asleep in the connecting room, so moving isn’t workable. Reported it by phone and in person, only response so far is a bottle of spray.     Another wonderful stay at Home2 Suites!

    We had ANOTHER wonderful stay at Home2 Suites in Yaphank, NY! From the moment we arrived, the customer service was exceptional—Olivia and the entire front desk team truly go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Their friendliness and professionalism made a lasting impression on us. The hotel itself is spotless. Our room was comfortable, modern, and very well maintained, and all of the common areas were clean and beautifully kept. You can really see the pride the staff takes in the property. One of our favorite features was the pool—it’s heated, which made it especially enjoyable during the winter. Such a great touch! The location is also incredibly convenient. Everything you could need is within walking distance, including a great restaurant, a Super Walmart, and even a walk-in clinic, which makes traveling so much easier. We are Hilton Honors members and travel often, and we continue to choose Hilton because of the consistent quality the brand delivers. When visiting Long Island to see family, we used to stay at other Hilton properties—but after several positive experiences, we will only stay here. This hotel truly stands out for its service, cleanliness, and overall experience. Highly recommend!     Stayed 3 nights to visit friends. Very reasonably priced with standard continental breakfast included. Standard larger room with the full kitchen and all. Nice pool and gym amenities. A good choice in the area!The team was the best part! Annette, David, and the really nice blonde lady who shuttled me to the airport whose name I sadly can’t remember, were all darling! You’d need a car to fully explore Long Island, generally, but there’s a couple restaurants within walking distance. One idea for improvement: sheets were a bit Threadbare, pilled with runs? Maybe due for an upgrade?And I did notice a decent bit of noise. TV in connecting room, footsteps and banging around at random times, voices from parking lot, perhaps walls are just thin.     Our stay was not a good experience, the sheets and bedding had a very bad smell and appearance, the hygiene in the room was very poor, terrible service, they don't provide water, what you pay is not worth the extra price for such poor quality of service and dirty.     Booked on Hilton app and the price was $700 but when we checked in we were told there was an incidental charge of $200 more so they put a hold on the card for $900. No where on the Hilton app does it say this will happen. I was informed by the desk they are the only location that does it that way. So we won’t stay at this location again. Pool was freezing. The room I selected online at check-in wasn’t ready at the appropriate check in time. Bathroom door did not close properly.
