  Beautiful hotel. Great value. But not very welcoming or kid friendly. We arrived at 2 Am there was a large group of adults in the main area- very loud group- some were out by the parking lot as we carried in the luggage’s- loud and drunk- you could hear them from our room on the second floor.Yet the front desk complained about our children making noise on that very night- quiet hours start at 10pm apparently only for children not for grown folk getting drunk at 2AM - then the next night complained again and threatened to quick us out.Our children were not running in the hallways or left unattended at any point. Also our room wasn’t next to any other guest rooms. The room to the right is q mechanical room and to the left was the small balcony. Which leads me to believe it was the reception lady- both nights the same lady was at the front- I explained that we have an active 5 year old and 2 year. If you have autistic children or high energy children I would reframe from booking here as it will not be met with kindness or understanding. Or make sure you get the first floor. Or maybe the rooms are not sound proofed correctly, carpet too thin Not sure, good luck.

  Disgusted! Nauseating!!

  This is the first time I have written a review for anything! I was this nauseated that I had to for this hotel. I live in the area and decided to have my daughter’s 10 birthday party here with a few of her friends for a hotel sleepover and pool party. Before we even walked into the building I instantly regretted staying here! Multiple areas just walking from my car to the main lobby there was dog poop! I mean everywhere Al on the sidewalk! Walking in the hallways to the room the moldings were off the walls and wall paper was peeling! Instantly embarrassed to have my daughter’s friends come to the room! We went down the to pool area and turned right around and left! The pool area was beyond hot and humid the girls couldn’t even breathe! The lights in the living room kept going dim then bright again! Here comes the worst part that made me write this review!!! We stayed in room 420 one of the 2 bedroom suites. I cooked them dinner, then started to prepare my daughter’s birthday cake. Thank god I saw this happen as it happened! Something fell from underneath the cabinet! 100% not doubt about it, it was rat poop!! Fresh rat poop!!! I called the front desk immediately! Still waiting to hear what they are going to do about this!! It’s. Shame because I was hoping to have her party here every year! I will never ever return here! And will never send my daughter here for another party. I’m still here and sick to my stomach to have these children sleep in this filth! If I didn’t have my daughters friends here for her party I would be out of here so fast!!   Nice stay in Ronkonkoma

  As a Hilton Honors Diamond member I enjoy staying at different properties across Hilton's portfolio. Recently I took a trip to Long Island via the LIRR, and chose this hotel due to its walkability from the train station.The day before arrival, I checked in via the app and chose my room. Staff was friendly upon my arrival. Suite was spacious and comfortable. No issues with TV, WiFi, or climate control. Bathroom had plenty space for toiletries.Overall, no complaints. I recommend this property for its convenience.   Fantastic hotel: great location, clean and comfortable. We were greeted by Jon Carlo (sp) - what a GREAT HOST! He was engaging, knowledgeable and made a great recommendation for Long Island's best BACON EGG & CHEESE. When we visit Long Island again- we will be certain to stay here. Riley checked us out and was absolutely wonderful as well. I hope you appreciate both of them!   Ripoff Rates and Noisy!

  Fellow travelers, this property, and many others, has found a way to raise their rates without having to advertise their actual rate. Even though Homewood Suites of Ronkonkoma owns their own parking lot, they charge $15 per night to park. A real screw job, I think. They don’t bother telling you they are going to screw you either. Push back against this cheap, illegal tactic! Each GM can waive the charge, but the manager here would not.
