    Bad experience at a New York hotel

    Good location and the old cat is the only one bonus in this hotel, which is more like a motel. The room is very dirty, old single-glazed windows are leaky, there is a lot of street noise, the beed sheets are very dirty, there are grease and blood stains, there are not even blankets ,only sheets. The shared showers are cleaned only once a day. We have definitely not encountered such a mess anywhere in Europe.

    Had a great stay at the hotel, the bed was comfy and the staff were great, Perfectly located with a subway station outside and good places to eat;We specially loved bronx the cat 😻Thankyou we’ll be back !

    I had a wonderful stay in New York City! The room was well-appointed with a comfortable bed, and the kitchenette enclosed in charming French doors was a lovely touch. The bathroom, just down the hall, was spacious with a great shower and tub. The attentive, 24-hour staff made me feel right at home. The neighborhood was incredibly walkable, with plenty of nearby restaurants, plus great access to public transportation. Overall, a terrific value for the money—highly recommend!

    NY is an expensive city. If you are just needing a place to crash while you explore this place is fine. Definitely take some bug spray and your own pillow cases. If you want 5 star there are plenty of places within walking distance charging 6-10 times the price. My advice? Book a room with your own bathroom and get out and explore.

    Cat piss paradise

    Only reason I am giving this 3 stars is 1 for location , 1 for the price and 1 for the cat. The smell of bins and cats piss in the hallways was rancid. Fortunately the smell was not as bad in the room. Members of staff we met were extremely rude and acted like they couldn’t be bothered when we were checking in and checking out. Room was okay , bed was comfortable and there was good air conditioning (except it was quite loud). Shared toilet was blocked for over 12 hours which shows the bathrooms are not checked often enough… There is a cute cat who wanders around the corridors and escorts you to your room but knows to stay in the corridor and not come in. For me this cat was the highlight of my experience at hotel 309. The location was great Subway is not even a 1 minute walk from the hotel.If I had paid anymore for this hotel I would not be happy. However, for the location in New York this hotel was very reasonable. Honestly if you are looking for a bargain and can stand the smell of bins and cats piss then stay here. If not , don’t.
