    Overnight in LI

    rating06 Jun 2026

I stayed at the Long Island Marriott this past week and was forntunate that when I checked in Joseph was able to accommodate me with a newly renovated room which was very impressive from my previous stays. I have obviously read some poor reviews of the hotel and understand the rooms were in a major need of updating, but they have done a great job and would stay at the hotel again without a doubt. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the food is always solid at the restaurant/bar. FRONT OFFICE, at Long Island Marriott, responded to this review Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re thrilled to hear that Joseph was able to accommodate you with one of our newly renovated rooms and that it exceeded your expectations. It’s great to know you found the room clean and comfortable, and that you continue to enjoy the food at our restaurant and bar.We truly appreciate your recognition of the improvements we’ve made, and your feedback means a lot to us. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Long Island Marriott for another enjoyable stay soon!

    Don’t hold your event here

    rating23 Apr 2026

I have been a Marriott Titanium Elite member for years. I recently hosted a $41,000 professional event at the Marriott Uniondale where the restaurant was closed, room service did not exist, and my guests were left with virtually no dining options. I filed a formal complaint and reached out directly to Marriott’s CEO and Chief Customer Officer. This is what happened to my email to Marriott Customer Care.Deleted. Without being read.So here is what Titanium Elite actually means at Marriott. It means they will work hard to earn your loyalty, and once they have it, they will delete your complaints at 2:40 in the morning without opening them.To any professional planning a corporate event or considering Marriott for your next program, I want you to have the full picture before you sign that contract.#Marriott #TitaniumElite #CustomerService #MomentsOfTruth FRONT OFFICE, at Long Island Marriott, responded to this review Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We are sincerely sorry for the experience you described and for the frustration this caused you and your guests. This is not the level of service we strive to provide—especially to our valued Titanium Elite members and those hosting significant professional events with us.We take concerns about dining availability, guest communication, and the handling of customer care inquiries very seriously. Your feedback has been escalated for review. Please accept our apologies, and thank you for sharing your experience so candidly.

    Watch the fees!

    rating18 Apr 2026

Have stayed at this property dozens of times over the last 20 years. Checkin was smooth, Adam was great, very personable recognized that I was a titanium member and welcomed me back. Room and M Lounge was great zero issues. M Lounge personal were very professional both nighttime and mornings. That being said, over the last couple of stays, this particular property seems to sneak charges into the bill so I was on high alert. And yep, they did it again! I found a 'Misccomm Utility' charge of $1.50 on my bill for each night of the stay. While checking out I questioned the charge and was told by the front desk clerk "We started to add this charge to bills to offset the increased hotel energy costs". WHAT? I told her that I did not authorize the charge and to please remove it. She told me she couldn't and was a "mandatory charge". I nicely explained that it will not be reimbursed by my office and needs to be removed or I will dispute the charge with my credit card company. She then proceeded to huff and said she would need to talk to a manager. She walked away and 2 minutes later came back said nothing and simply handed me an updated receipt without saying anything. Overall was a nice stay but honestly, I will probably just go with another Marriott to avoid dealing with their games! Yes. this time it was only a small dollar amount, but it is the principle. In the past they snuck in charges like $25 daily parking or random uncalled for fees etc. FRONT OFFICE, at Long Island Marriott, responded to this review Thank you for your feedback and for your continued loyalty over the years. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed your stay and truly appreciate your recognition of Adam and our M Club team.We sincerely apologize for the frustration caused by the utility charge and, more importantly, by how it was explained and handled at checkout. That interaction does not reflect the level of clarity, courtesy, and professionalism we expect from our team, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention.Your comments have been reviewed with our leadership team to ensure consistent communication and a smoother experience moving forward. We value your Titanium loyalty and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back again.

Is it Motel 6 or Marriott ?

    rating12 Mar 2026

If you are stuck in 1995, then this place is for you. No room service. No evening restaurants. You are in the middle of a parking lot for the relatively defunct Nassau Coliseum, one would think the staff would go out of their way to be customer service oriented. Not happening here! Like many others, I feel Marriott is going so downhill. Recently, only Edition, Ritz Carlton and St. Regis are the only properties you can count on, otherwise call it Days Inn or Motel 7. FRONT OFFICE, at Long Island Marriott, responded to this review Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m sorry to hear that your stay fell short of expectations. We understand the importance of convenient dining options and attentive service, and we regret that we missed the mark during your visit. Your comments have been shared with our team so we can address these concerns and improve. We appreciate your honesty and hope to have the chance to provide a better experience in the future.
