  It was horrible. I didn't stay at the hotel. There was blood and bodily fluids all over my bed. Room was supposedly recently cleaned. Smell of smoke despite requesting a non smoking room. It was filthy. Asked for a refund after looking at the room and walking out. I was denied. The hotel refused. Esky supported them. False advertisement. Room looks nothing like it states on the website. I would add the pictures but they do not give me the option to.

  This is the most awful hotel I have ever stayed jn! Like most people who have stayed here I was fooled by the location and photographs. This is only close to JFK airport if you are happy to walk around a rough neighbourhood after getting off the train. The photos do not reflect anything like what the hotel is like. Upon arriving after midnight and seeing the dirty lobby with rubbish on the floor. I was greeted by two receptionists who were nothing short of rude to me. I asked generic questions and I was answered with them smirking or sniggering at me. Upon arriving to the room there was rubbish on the corridors and the room was completely filthy with stains on the beds, dirt on the walls in the bathrooms and the door wouldn’t lock. It was 12.30am and I had no choice to stay here as I was leaving at 9am to get to JFK airport. After I checked into room I asked receptionist if they had change for the one vending machine in the complex and they said said no and directed me to a shop two blocks away. This hotel is located on a street with junkies, homeless and people fighting and arguing on the street and I was approached by one gentleman who advised me if I was a tourist to get back to the hotel immediately as it was completely unsafe. I fear that something will happen outside this hotel to a tourist or a female / male on their own. This hotel is not safe for tourists and is used by sex workers as we seen many men and women come and go. This place should be closed down and given the choice I would have paid anything to get out of here. It would be nicer, cleaner and safer to sleep on the airport floor than stay here!

  This is the most appalling hotel I have ever experienced. Images online are not a reflection of reality. No security, receptionist goes awol, anyone (people who live on the street) can access the hotel and it’s rooms with ease. All doors to the hotel rooms have massive gaps down the side of the door where people have tried using force to get into the rooms. Bedding had different coloured stains and was wet, walls had many stains on them, dirty desk, left over food and drink in fridge, hair dryer full of dust and dirt, lilies toilet paper on holder which was also soggy! Busted lamp and lights hanging from wall, massive hole in ceiling of bathroom. The list goes on and on! Absolutely filthy! The key card to the room recommends locking the door at all times with the dead lock. Refused to stay there. Didn’t get refund. Shocking service. People outside the hotel said the area was completely destitute and that sex workers use the hotel. Didn’t stay another second after hearing this. Area completely unsafe. Felt extremely uncomfortable. Do not book this hotel. States it is 3 stars but is not. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

  This is a crack house!! No kidding, read the Google reviews… The reception seem to be ‘skimming’ - effectively renting rooms off books to boost their own money. I’d rather have stayed in that terrifying hotel from The Shining.Hotel has changed hands and managed to keep previous higher scoring reviews, offsetting it’s average.On arrival, there was a drug user beached out on the reception room couch. She stared at me with a suspicious eye. I have no doubt she either couldn’t focus, or wanted to rob me. Had she had been less lazy, she may have achieved this objective. The reception clerk was as rude as they come. We were met by a prostitute in the lift who engaged us in prostitute related small talk.Our door wouldn’t close properly as it had been ‘hooli’ barred (basically when law enforcement breach a door). During nighttime hours, you are kept awake by banging on the door and the distinct whispers/ screaming of drug users debating the worlds mysteries.Not trusting the establishment, I confirmed the stairwell escapes were clear (which they were - hence the mandatory 1 star achieved). However they enjoyed a strong odour of thick uncleared crack user urine. My nose still experiences flashbacks in it’s darker moments.Unless you are filming a nature documentary on the effects of drugs, I would avoid staying here.Though you may leave, a part of you feels lost forever. Apparently, if you stay too long, you can succumb to the charms of the establishment and become a permanent drug using resident.

  Horrible place. As soon as you walk in it stinks of smoke and the smell continues to the room. There’s people hanging out outside just watching everyone. No parking even though it says free parking when booking. Tried asking staff where I could park and they were super rude and unhelpful. Save yourself the trouble and DON’T BOOK HERE!
