    I have to subtract maybe half a star or so because it is so noisy outside the window at night. Otherwise hotel is peaceful, clean, and spacious. Paper ticket(s) are given at check-in to be used for breakfast. Hotel has an "older" or perhaps "vintage" vibe to it. Great location.

    Room was very clean. Beds are comfy. Staff was polite. Morning breakfest was good and pleanty to choose from.. eggs, pancakes, french toast, potatoes, sausage, breads, pastries, bagels, juices, tea, coffee. Room was nothing fancy but not bad - had everything you needed. Fridge, micro, coffeemaker- Roomy & clean. Loved the shower head. Would def. Stay again. Nice and close for a concert or the mall.

    Excellent value for money hotel. Staff very friendly, rooms very spacious and the beds are super comfortable. Bathroom is a good size with hot water at any time of the day. The free shuttle bus to Secaucus Junction train station is a god send and saves you lots of money. There is an iron, ironing board, hair dryer, microwave and tea and coffee making facilities in the room with a fridge. My suggestion would be to bring your own teabags if you are travelling from the UK as the US teabags are not to my taste ( I’m a Yorkshire Tea kind of fella ). A little tip would be not to bring $100 bills as not many places like taking the benjamins, so bring 50’s or even better 20’s. The journey into Penn Station from hotel to station takes about 30 minutes from door to door, but download the NJ Transit app and purchase you’re tickets before you leave for the station as this can take a while once you are at the station. We used the hotel phone number and zip code to create accounts, also check the train times before you leave this will save you waiting in the station.

    Very clean, shuttle was very helpful. Good coffee, great location. I knew what time checkout time was, I didn’t need a call to remind me. I thought that was kinda rude.

    Perfect for a Concert at MetLife Stadium

    Highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a place to stay while attending an event at MetLife Stadium. I looked at pretty much every hotel near MetLife Stadium (where we went for a concert), and this one is like a hidden gem. Their online booking system may feel outdated, but I'm so glad I didn't let that scare me off. The price when I booked was about $100 lower than other nearby options plus they have a free shuttle to and from the American Dream mall (from there you can take the pedestrian bridge to get to MetLife Stadium) and free hot breakfast to boot! Also, plenty of free parking.The room was perfectly modern and clean with all the usual furnishings, plus a window that opens. We did have one incident where, upon returning, we unlocked the door with our key but the door wouldn't open more than a couple inches because the security deadbolt mechanism had somehow engaged itself! We went to the front desk, where they didn't seem too surprised and said this does happen occasionally. They called maintenance, walked with us to our room, and a maintenance man met us there with a simple tool to release the mechanism. It was all resolved in a matter of minutes.The shuttle is a white van with the hotel's logo on the side. It picks up passengers right outside the lobby doors. There was a helpful, informative sign at the reception desk with more details, e.g., it explained the drop-off / pick-up location at the mall and provided a phone number to call in case of any issues.Breakfast was in La Reggia, the Italian restaurant located off the hotel's lobby. The offerings were what you'd expect for a hotel hot breakfast buffet - e.g. scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, sausages, pancakes, plus continental breakfast options - but it was a step above what you usually get at chain hotels because the eggs were real and the sausages more substantial and tasty! We also got a coupon for the restaurant upon checking in, so we had dinner there the night we checked in and it was amazing. Every dish was excellent, so flavorful, and the wait staff was attentive and super friendly. Two members of our party had food allergies (to tree nuts and sesame) and the restaurant accommodated them without issue.Finally, as covid-conscious folks, we were pleased to see one of the front desk staff wearing a high-quality mask.
