    Nice staff, rough stay.I want to be fair and say the staff was very nice and tried to help. They were polite, professional, and seemed like they genuinely wanted to make things work.Unfortunately, the room and overall stay were not good. I was in Room 104 and ended up checking out early because I did not feel comfortable staying. The room did not feel clean or properly maintained, and I saw what appeared to be a large centipede in the room. I was not able to get a photo before leaving, but at that point the room no longer felt acceptable.The overall environment at the property also made it hard to relax or feel comfortable. I came in expecting a basic, clean hotel stay and instead felt like I had accidentally unlocked a side quest.Again, the staff deserves credit for being kind and trying to help, but the room condition and overall experience were disappointing enough that I left early.

    The hotel looks much nicer in photos and on the outside than in reality. The rooms are in need of renovations and the bathroom was terrible - there was hair on the floor, soap scum on the bathtub, and mold on the ceiling above the bathtub.

    My family and I were looking for a place to stay close to Legoland. Santiago, the GM at Microtel Inn & Suites – Middletown, provided exceptional customer service — very clear, thorough, and accommodating. He took the time to understand our situation and helped us make the best decision for our stay. It’s rare to find someone so professional and genuinely helpful. He truly went above and beyond, and I highly recommend this location for that reason!The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5, is that the room itself could use some updates. Although it wasn’t completely outdated, there was a noticeable smell of cigarette smoke even though we were on a non-smoking floor (possibly coming through the vents). I had to spray Lysol throughout the room. The bathroom could use a refresh, as some fixtures were showing rust, and the mattresses/pillows would be more comfortable with an upgrade. I didn’t bring this to management’s attention since I knew there was probably little that could be done about the smell during our stay.Overall, great experience!

    Great hotel. Needs updating but really welcoming and hospitable. Santiago Hidalgo the general manager is great. The staff is very welcoming as well.
