    Seriously deceptive!

    My friends and I reserved 2 rooms back in April and they were confirmed. A day before received email welcoming us for our stay at the NYMA Hotel with pictures of the hotel. Arrived and was told hotel was closed and reservations were moved to a hotel across the street and they had no rooms with the previously requested king (2) beds. No option but accept since it was marathon weekend and all rooms in the city booked. No apologies, no explanation. Many others in the hotel had the same experience and were angry. Can a hotel get away with this????     I booked my stay in NYC through Booking.com in July, and less then 2 weeks prior to my trip then cancelled saying they over booked. Well be carefull this hotel, I have been to NYC many times but this is a first!     Not a good experience with the bathtub

    Great location, Nice place. Super convenient to subways. Very friendly people.Buttttt!! The bathtub did not drain the water. They tried to fix it but never could. They had to move me to another room. They were supposed to give me a credit to my card but I never saw the credit.     as soon as we arrived we were given room that was not cleaned up, the new room on the third floor, opposite a night club: impossible to rest well. The hotel is old, wall paper and carpet ruined, the room smells damp. Apart from the location, the hotel is not worth the amount we paid.
