The location itself is great. Close to train stations. It is however very loud after 10:00p. There are a couple bars on the street. We didn’t realize this when booking.

A terrific budget apartment hotel in a great area

10/10 Excellent!A budget apartment hotel in a terrific area, this hotel exceeded our expectations. Gabe is a warm, professional and hospitable host. The beds are comfortable, rooms are spacious, especially by Nee York standards. Cleaners are friendly and hard working. The area is safe, but hopping. Loads of options for dining and nightlife. Multiple subway options are nearby. Gabe was available with any recommendations we needed. It feels like we have a New York apartment (a girl can dream!). We’ll be back!

Excellent location for visiting the East Village and great value. Daughter was celebrating her 21st in the city and we needed a room with 2 beds and a little space for a reasonable price. A very hard find in NYC. She wanted to be in or near the East Village. I booked this hotel because it said there is a queen bed and a double futon, price was acceptable. We were so surprised that it was a complete apartment! Full kitchen, living room and bedroom. Big bathroom too, plenty of room for 4 girls to get ready to go out on the town. Not super modern or fancy but clean, spacious and well equipped. Perfect base for our weekend!

My family and I stayed there for four nights and it was perfect. We had two suites. The rooms were spotless and very quiet. The staff was efficient and incredibly helpful and I would definitely stay there again on my next visit. It was so conveniently located and having a small kitchen made it feel like home.We all could not have been more pleased and will recommend off Soho suites to all of our friends visiting New York

10-15 hairs in the bed

Probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Hairs all over the bed, not just one that might have accidentally ended up on the covers, but there was about 10-15 hairs, like surely the maid must think I had best remove those??The room was also like a sauna. I asked the guy on reception if he can turn the heating off, he said he would do but to open a window. Checked a few hours later and the heating was still beaming out and the open window was barely doing anything. Checked the next morning and the heating was still on so he clearly didn't turn it off, or at least turn it down.Other than this, it was ok, for the price and location. The guy on the desk was actually cool. It was the hairs on the bed that made this a poor review. I could have dealt with the heating to an extent. The rest of the room was ok, bathroom and kitchen seemed clean enough and no issues. Easy check in and out.
