    absolutely wonderful location, within 20 mins walk to many iconic spots and around 40 mins to central park. the price is unbeatable for the location. perfectly on the border of times square area/hell's kitchen. make sure to try Qamaria Yemeni Coffee Co across the street-- delicious iced pistachio latte :) a friend and i stayed in the bunk bed room and the room was perfectly sized with a great double headed shower and full bathroom. i would stay 100 times over!

    This hotel was just as advertised. No frills, small but completely functional room. My husband and I are not people who spend a lot of time in the room so this was perfect for us. The staff were friendly and helpful; if you asked or approached them. Having never stayed here before I feel like the staff didn't explain the perks or extras or oddities of the hotel. (The two elevators, free walking tours etc). but the rooms were clean, towels, bedding - everything was as advertised in that respect. The great thing for us was the location! So easy to get to, near the PABT so the subway was a block away. The location is in Hell's kitchen so there were many restaurants, pubs options all around us. It was exactly what we needed/wanted in regards to price and location. I would absolutely stay here again in NYC or any other city! And would absolutely recommend it.

    Practical and straight forward

    Small room with just a bed and bathroom. Perfect for one or two people traveling with a carryon and personal item. If you bring a large suitcase, space will be pretty tight. It is in a great location. Close to the 42nd St-Port Authority Bus Station, and about a 7 minute walk from Father Duffy Square in Times Square. There is a breakfast spot crossing the street and a small bodega just downstairs. Staff is friendly and helpfull.

    Didn't know what to expect from the Pod but I was pleasantly surprised at the whole experience. The Hotel is in a great location for getting to and from any part of the city, and there is everything you need within walking distance. There is a nice atmosphere at the POD - The staff were very helpful and attentive - even under pressure. Special mention has to go to Victor at the lobby bar. It's people that make experiences worthwhile and he managed to make us all feel at home and was always a welcoming face when calling in for a nightcap after the hustle and bustle of midtown. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

    Perfect Pod Apartment for an extended stay

    The Pod apartments are excellent value for our five week stay. They are in a fabulous location, turn one way and you are in the heart of Times Square, in a different direction you are walking an ever changing neighbourhood. The apartment was extremely clean and well equipped for cooking meals if that’s your jam. We couldn’t speak more highly of the staff who were professional, friendly and helpful. A truly wonderful stay. We will be back!
