    The Midtown Hotel that Was Once Great

    When the hotel first opened —back in the original Philippe Stark design days— it was a real “buzz” of a place and a HOT HOT cocktail location. The lobby os now dark and dull.

    Do not book this hotel if you want a hotel that is actually open as his hotel feels like it is closed. He can’t even get a drink. They definitely avoid this hotel in New York because there is plenty of beautiful more hotels that you can stay at. it is not clean and looks like it needs to be refurbished. There is lots of broken bits around the room and the rooms are dark and smell.

    Great location, spacious room, good value and excellent customer service. I must make special mention of Marco, who checked me in early with such graciousness and also need to mention the bellman Neil, who was super helpful with check-in and parking.
