This luxury boutique hotel is located in the heart of New York's SoHo. Tribeca, Greenwich Village, Chinatown, Wall Street, and NYU all lie in the near surroundings.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1881. The hotel has 367 rooms and 2 suites, which are located on 16 storeys and are reachable by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by English- and French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (for a fee). Further services include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, medical assistance, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser and a coin-operated laundry. A bicycle hire service provides all the necessary equipment for exploring the surrounding area. Complimentary newspapers are available. A business centre with fax machine and projector is available.

Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. All rooms are carpeted and have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a minibar are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. Further amenities include an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a CD player, a DVD player, an alarm clock and WiFi provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. A shower and a bathtub are included the bathrooms. A hairdryer, bathrobes and a telephone are available for daily use. As an extra convenience, bathrooms provide cosmetic products. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

There are many ways to relax or stay active at the hotel, including cycling/mountain biking, a gym, aerobics, a spa and massage treatments. Leisure facilities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club, a dance club and a nightclub.

Meals

    Whenever I'm in the city, I try to stay here as it's always such a memorable experience in the perfect location. Recently, we stayed again for our 2nd wedding anniversary and everything was so special. We'll remember this anniversary always. Thank you to the one of a kind staff for everything!

There’s something so timeless and effortlessly cool about this hotel — from the stunning interiors and vibrant atmosphere to the attention to detail and hospitality throughout the entire stay. It perfectly captures the spirit of downtown New York while still feeling luxurious, warm, and intimate.Every part of the experience felt elevated, and it’s easy to see why this place remains such an iconic NYC destination.     SGH is my go-to stay in NYC. I have considered trying other hotels, but always end up here and happy with my decision. The staff is welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are clean and well-designed and the location is fantastic. From checking in with Tyra to being greeted by Jonathan and Nathan, SG has become my NYC dream apartment.

    Great time as usual at SoHo Grand. The amenities on site, the location and the rooms were fantastic. That said, the real highlight of the trip was the staff. Loni made us feel welcomed from day one and made sure my wife and I felt like VIP’s. The complimentary prosecco and cookies sent from Bryson were such a kind touch as well. We’ll continue to come back every time we come to the city. Great job bringing in people who are the best at what they do and keeping them!!
