    better than expected stay in Jersey City, right outside of Manhattan

    Great, short stay here. From the moment I checked in, Analyn, Lorenzo and Juan were super friendly but professional, acknowledged my Travel Pass membership, even though I'm at the lowest level, and just made the stay that much better. The room was clean and spacious and couldn't have asked for much more in this price range.

    I’ve stayed at this property several times mainly due to Sonesta rewards and parking access in JC. Nice location with views of NYC. Close to Hudson River. Juan at front desk was very helpful and friendly. During my last stay, I was able to hear the guest Nextdoor very clearly through the wall - talking and TV. I used ear plugs and no problem.

    This hotel should be reclassified as a MOTEL. For starters, the tub/shower was broken and made an obnoxious noise, never gave full shower mode just split halfway between tub filler and shower head. NONE of the outlets worked, had to use computers to charge cell phones. TV channels were extremely limited, remote did not work half the time I tried to use it. Room was subpar in every way. It literally just stayed in a fabulous and enormous room at a resort hotel in the best part of Charleston for 2/3 the price of this room. DO NOT STAY HERE.

    Noisy location beside light rail system

    We stayed for 3 nights. We were allocated a room on thd 8th floor at the rear . The problem was that the window on 807 wasn’t properly fitted so slightly open. The light rail system runs behind the building and starts around 5.30am running frequently. As well as the normal sound it also constantly beeps to alert traffic/pedestrians so made for a noisy room from early morning as construction going on nearby also. Front facing room would be better . One of the other guests in a different room was agreeing with the noise situation. Other than that the place was ok though not particularly good value. Location otherwise is good.

    Refused access to room. Reservation booked by spouse. Showed front desk person reservation code and email from spouse’s cell phone and email address. Still refused access until wife arrived. Extremely unfriendly and unreasonable. Strongly recommend never staying here.
