This city hotel is located just off Lexington Avenue, around the corner from the Waldorf Astoria. The Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, St. Patrick's Cathedral, the United Nations building, Broadway theatres and 5th Avenue shopping are all within walking distance of the hotel. By walking a little further up 49th Street to Broadway, guests can be within 7 blocks of Times Square. The subway is nearby.

Facility

34 non-smoking rooms are located on 10 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Services such as a baggage storage service, a safe and a drinks machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The apartment hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities.     This hotel is located in a great area, close to Grand Central. The accommodations are beautiful,with many amenities. The staff is very friendly & helpful! Breakfast is excellent. This was our first time at this hotel and will not be our last! great place. Thank you!

    The room was very spacious for NYC and clean. We are a family of 5 which is why we chose this hotel. Good location just off Lexington. The front desk staff was really friendly, and we really enjoyed the breakfast. There were eggs, ham or sausage, bagels, pastries, fresh waffles, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, coffee, juice, and milk. We really have no complaints and would highly recommend, especially for small groups or families.

    The Bayard Hotel exceeeded our expectations. The staff, including front desk (Marcia and the gentlemen in the day shift), breakfast crew and housekeeping were very pleasant, helpful and a great reflection of the atmosphere. The room was the equivalent of a one bedroom apartment with a kitchen, large living room/dining area and a large bedroom. The accomdations were classic elegance. We've visited Manhatten multiple times over 25+ years and The Bayard Hotel has moved to the top of our favorite hotels.

    Great location. Wonderful desk staff. Quiet at night. Comfy beds. Doors in room were not aligned with frames- but that’s character! Brekkie was lacking and skipped after the first experience.

    Bayard Hotel NYC ExperienceWe stayed at Bayard Hotel in New York as a family of four (my two sons, my husband, and I). Our room was a 1+1 apartment-style studio, ready upon arrival. On the last day, when a room change was needed, the staff kindly allowed us early check-in to the new room, which was very convenient. We were satisfied with the cleanliness and service; whenever towels were missing, they were promptly delivered. The location was excellent, within walking distance to many key attractions. Breakfast could be improved, but overall the hotel’s small-scale service and central position were a big advantage. We had no issues during our stay and would gladly recommend it.
