    I walked by this hotel and stared at the building for an embarrassing amount of time looking for signage or something to confirm its existence. Nondescript signage (cute once I found it?) and a low key lobby weren’t my expectations. I ended up having an ADA room on the 11th floor which was okay. The room layout was inefficient to say the least. This is NYC. There are opportunities for Hilton to make this hotel super cool and not for a lot. Bathroom floor was heated, that was a nice surprise. But my shower leaked all over the floor and I had to use extra towels to deal with it. Over all: price is lower, it was convenient to my room work meetings, but I’ve stayed in a few Tapestry properties and this was the least impressive by far.     Smaller Hotel Fit Just Right

    What a lovely experience. Just came in for a long weekend, and was not disappointed. Loved the room. More spacious than I thought it would be. The remodeled bathroom was my favorite. Heated floors were delightful. Good service. Would come back.     I should have known what we chose when I arrived. No bellman, valet is “outsourced.”Spartan accommodations would be an exaggeration. Room was extremely tiny! Bathroom was so miniscule, the toilet was basically 1/2 standard size. But here’s the cherry on the proverbial sundae: you can’t have a cool room and a dark room because if you close the curtains you will close off the vent for cool air under the window!Left after first night and received a refund.     The BEST at the Bernic

    Spend enough time traveling to say you don’t come to expect much, but properties like this one remind you that great people make an experience amazing. From the moment I walked in, the service from Kelsie, Kayla, Karla, Tenzin, and of course the amazing Shay really made my stay. My room was spotless and this property is a great balance beam between efficiency and luxury. Clean, upscale, accommodating, and the exceptional care really made my stay at the Bernic wonderful.     Not what I expected…

    I had high hopes with the bernic . I booked it through Hilton. Com with more than 6 months in advanced asking for a room in a high floor because some reviews complaint about the street noise ..when I got to the hotel they told they didn’t have one available and they put me in the 2 floor (the first floor of rooms!) very very dark room…the bed was comfortable, but two things really disappointed me: the WiFi in the room was awful . The speed was like you were in 1995…if you’re planing on working or stream a series forget about it …and the “”breakfast “” …another let down . They serve it in a restaurant by the hotel and it consist of a coffee and a burned “croissants” with some fruit ..not good…. I only went there once then I had my breakfast down the corner of the hotel .
