    Value and convenience near Penn Station

    I stayed here with my family for one night before a cruise. We had a room with 3 twin beds. The bathroom was tiny, but clean. The minifridge and microwave were useful. The location was excellent- about a 20-minute walk from Penn Station and Madison Square Garden. It was a 10-minute walk to the subway, and we got to Wall Street (for the ferry to the Brooklyn Cruise Ship Terminal) in about 30 minutes. It was close to shopping and restaurants, including CVS, Fairway, and Whole Foods. The room was very hot, but comfortable and clean. The Heritage Hotel was great for a one-night stay. I would definitely come back for a longer stay.

    Great location, great staff, nice clean rooms. Rooms are small- that’s just NYC. Three adults shared a room with 3 twin beds. Everything we wanted was near to the hotel including Subway. Plenty to eat and shop within walking distance. W

    Authentic, classic New York Hotel!

    Girls trip from California, limited budget, Heritage Hotel was a God send! Conveniently located to subways, easy walk to stores & parks, & a stunning view of The Empire State right outside the front door! All the staff was so friendly & helpful. Our room had 2 beds, was smaller, but clean & comfortable with everything we needed. You can pay extra to have a view of the Empire State, but we opted for what I'm called the "Real NY / Rear Window View"; it just added to the authentic feel of this older, charming building. Zigzagging the halls & riding the quaint elevators was part of the experience. We were very pleased with our stay, would stay there again, & recommend Heritage Hotel to anyone, on a budget or not :)

    We needed a hotel as close as possible to NYU Langone Hospital. The price was right and it was within walking distance of the hospital. Though older the rooms were clean and the staff was very helpful and accomodating. The location was great and street parking was never a problem but their was public parking close by,also a grocery and lots of reasonable restaurants close by. Great value and would stay their again given the opportunity.

    Great Hotel, centrally located and close to Subway Stations. Good, inexpensive breakfast facilities closeby; if you walk towards 23rd Street there is a deli with an extensive variety of sandwiches and breakfast items.The Hotel is easy to identify as it has a big H in a lighted sign. So when you come back, tired of walking and the whole day out, it is like a "north star" guiding you to the entrance. Highly recommended, very reasonable pricing.
