    Historic Hotel in the Village.

    It was lovely to stay in the Village with its rich history of art, music, dance, and theater. The Marlton has its own rich history as an old boarding house. Our stay was lovely in every way. The staff couldn't be nicer! The convenience of a wonderful French restaurant made our stay even better. We have stayed there more than once and will definitely return.

    We had a lovely stay at the Marlton for our 25th wedding anniversary. Our room was small which was as expected for New York but it was beautifully decorated and very stylish. Well stocked minibar. The hotel itself was in a fantastic location in the heart of Greenwich Village. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. Our bathroom was nicely designed with lovely products and good towels, albeit the shower pressure wasn’t great. A couple of small negatives. We were there for 5 days and there were no drawers in the room and quite limited storage for shoes and clothes so we mostly lived out of our suitcase stored under the bed. We had prepaid for breakfast and the quality was excellent - the granola bowl was delicious - but the staff seemed a little overworked and a little more variety would have been nice - all cooked breakfast options were extras. All that said it was a very enjoyable stay and we would happily stay there again.

    I’ve stayed in many hotels around the world and I can honestly say that this is one of my favourites. From the decor, vibe, service, restaurant to the location, this hotel has it all. Highly recommend!

    Charming spot in Greenwich Village, walkable to everything and subway

    Excellent, charming hotel in the heart of Greenwich Village. Close to Washington Square, shopping, jazz, comedy, the subway. Delicious food, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Not inexpensive but for this location, the charm, quality and service were outstanding. Beds super comfortable, slept well.
