Nasty front desk turned me off

    rating18 Feb 2026

Just wanted to chill alone for a few hours so I Booked a stay using Dayuse, came to check in and the girl at the front desk was very unprofessional. When I came in she was on the phone arguing with another person already. And then argued with me. I didn’t know there was a $200 deposit because no all hotels have deposits depending which app is used to book with, or some have lower deposits. So she was all nasty about it. Decided I wasn’t gonna stay and left for a different property down the block.

No Sleep, No Clean Sheets (Blood Stains), No Accountability

    rating17 Apr 2025

I had a terrible experience at this hotel. My family and I just needed a few hours of sleep during a long layover. When we got to the room there was a dried blood splatter stain on the top sheet of my bed and when we tried to alert the front desk, there was no one there. This caused me to be very uncomfortable that night and in the nights following—after we checked out. There was also someone yelling while we were trying to sleep which lasted for more than 30 minutes. When I checked out the following morning and alerted the front desk about the blood, I was told that the manager would call me. It has now been almost four days and I have yet to receive a call. I do not recommend this hotel especially of you value comfort and basic customer service.

    Try and find another place.

    rating07 Feb 2025

Pro: clean and good location Con: do not come here if you require a service dog. When I called to confirm they had the note after making reservation online the person who answered told me I had to bring my paperwork proving his status. There is no such thing and not an ADA requirement on top of that. Throughout my stay they aggressively confronted me each time about him. I had to repeat myself constantly. While waiting in the lobby for a ride I was about to have a medical episode and doing his job he was alerting me. The front desk agent snapped at me telling me it was not a pet friendly hotel and I had to leave. Once I was able to compose myself I again notified them he is a medical alert service dog and I was a guest of the hotel. The staff needs training on both ADA regulations and hospitality.

    Unprofessional Service!!!

    rating15 Oct 2024

Unprofessional Service!!!! I arrived into NY on October 8th and they cancelled my reservation without sending an email or even a phone call. Money was in my account waiting for them to process. I checked a week before, 3,2 and a day before to ensure they processed and they never did. Money was still available in my account the day I traveled to NY. I had to scramble and find another hotel. I specifically was looking forward to this hotel for the amenities I booked and the room I chose! You all need to do better. My check in time was from 3pm until 10 or 11pm. I was on my way to the hotel when I got the notification my reservation was cancelled. Terrible way to have started my first visit to NYC! I suggest all persons booking with this hotel to call and make sure you reservation is still there cause I called 2-3 days before and confirmed and they said everything was set for my arrival.

Overpriced for a just ok place to stay

    rating20 Sept 2024

The location of this hotel is great but that's probably it's best feature. Under 10 minutes walk to both subway and mainland rail stations.Stayed for 6 nights as a family of 4, booked two rooms - 1 twin and 1 accessible king size. Very expensive for what is a basic hotel Rooms are small with hardly any closet/storage space. Beds are not comfortable, mattress soft and lumpy. Twin room had 5 windows with great views, king room had 1 window and not so great views. Carpet is very old, weird deodoriser used daily to mask smell in both rooms and common areas. Breakfast is basic, cereal, some pastries, bread for toast etc. The restaurants at the hotel are overpriced, go next door to the mall for better dining options.Overall, very overpriced for a basic and dated hotel. Wouldn't stay here again
