    The Viana Checked All the Boxes!

    We lived in the area for almost 28 years but recently moved. Upon our recent trip back we decided to stay at the Viana. The surrounding area isn’t the best but this hotel sure was! We were very pleasantly surprised. The check could not have been easier and the staff very helpful and friendly. Our room on the 3rd floor was spacious with two closets, full kitchen area and the one thing that lacks in many hotels - a high pressure shower head! We were very happy with our stay and when we visit NY again to see friends and family this will be our top choice.     Nice hotel, greeted by a man in the lobby, held the door, showed us to elevator… nice touch….also greeted by a nice young lady for check in. Had dinner sent up to our room from restaurant down stairs … we both said it was absolutely delicious … so don’t go out to eat… you won’t be disappointed with the hotels restaurant ….     Located in Westbury, NY (Long Island), there is easy access to the parkways making access to the city and the rest of Long Island easy. The property is upscale, clean and well managed. Check in is very casual and quick and the rooms are up-to-date, clean and very comfortable. Flexible check-out options a big perk here as well as early check-ins. And, having the option to early check-in via texts is also a nice perk rarely seen anywhere else. Noise level is below what you'd expect anywhere else. I put the fan on during the evening and morning hours and heard little to nothing outside the premises or the hallway. There is a very nice full-service bar and restaurant service beers on tap, wines and mixed drinks, with a full menu for dinner. There's also a nice breakfast setup in the morning. Cost wise the price is as good if not slightly lower than some of the major chain upper scale hotels on the island. This is my third stay here in the last 8 months while visiting friends and family with plans for future stays.     Stayed for 2 nights, solo, and was pleasantly surprised. Was upgraded to studio suite- no extra charge- my room wasn’t ready. Ate at the Marco Polo restaurant the first night and the salmon was good. Ordered food to my room the second night- came covered and hot. The egg rolls were okay but I liked the vegetable potstickers. I soaked in the hydrotherapy tub both days and it was great. I had a massage in the spa and it was worth the money. Please be aware that gratuity is automatically added for the spa services, room service and at the restaurant. Conveniently located near highways, fast food places and 7-eleven. I liked it for a quick me-time getaway and would stay again.
