    Large rooms in perfect location.

    rating01 Jun 2026

This is an old school hotel. I like it for the location and the price and the large rooms(for NYC). Yes the bathrooms are small, and the elevators super busy and slow during peak times. There is one doorman that is always so friendly. He is a white guy with a beard. I would stay at the Warwick for sure if it was in the 300 per night dollar range. Joel Fabian, General Manager at Warwick New York, responded to this review Dear Cocobware,Thank you for sharing your feedback and for highlighting what you enjoy most about your stays with us. We’re glad our central location, spacious rooms, and overall value continue to make us a good choice for your visits to New York City.We also appreciate your candid comments regarding the bathrooms and elevator wait times during peak periods. Your feedback is important to us as we continually look for ways to improve the guest experience. It’s especially nice to hear your kind words about our doorman. I believe I know exactly who you are referring to, and I will be sure to share your recognition with him—it will mean a great deal.We truly appreciate your continued interest in staying with us and hope to welcome you back again soon.Regards,

    8th wedding anniversary trip

    rating01 Jun 2026

Just returned from spending 4 nights here at this lovely hotel for our 8th wedding anniversary, and what a fabulous trip and stay we’ve had. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to NYC, its location, staff from doormen, reception staff, maids, concierge all amazing, helpful and so friendly (credit to this hotel) cleanliness, size of the rooms, great powerful shower, tea and coffee facilities in the room, literally cannot fault or find anything negative to say about this hotel and our stay. The bed was extremely comfy, we stayed in 2521 (I think it was) and yes quite high up we were looking down on 6th ave which was great to see, loved hearing the hustle and bustle of the city but it wasn’t too much (my husband and I loved the Woop Woop of the sirens every now and then)Situated literally a 3 min walk to Central Park turn right and right again along 6th ave and you’ll see Central Park or a 3-5 min walk turn right out of hotel cross rd continue up the street turn left and continue on to Times Square, your in the middle of it all but without the hustle and bustle of it all. When we decide to venture back to nyc I honestly feel this will now be our go to hotel, as it ticks every box, affordability/location/cleanliness The Warwick has it all. Thankyou for having us. So disappointing. Spoiler alert: roaches.

    rating30 May 2026

Here’s all of it. I checked in at 8:10pm, well after the 3pm check in time. They had to check if my room was ready. It was, but after a long flight there, I didn’t appreciate having to sit and wait for them to confirm it before heading up. The next morning, the old school alarm clock in my room went off LOUDLY at 6am (which for me was 3am). Not cool. I jumped out of bed, not realizing WTF was happening. Next, when I returned to my room around 9pm, there was an f’ing ROACH crawling on the floor. I tried to kill it but it ran behind the TV console. I called the front desk who said they’d send someone “immediately.” Five long minutes later, a hero arrived and killed it. I was assured this was a very rare and was certain not to recur. The next day and night were fine. Day 3, I was woken at 8am by the guest in the room next door very angrily screaming at her child, followed by a door slam and a very young child crying very hard. Heartbreaking. (Not under the hotel’s contol, obviously.) I couldn’t fall back asleep, so I got up. As I began getting ready, guess what I saw hiding in the molding of the wall? ANOTHER ROACH!!! Long story short, this one ran away and hid behind the bed and was unable to be found despite some valiant efforts. At this point, I only had one night left but I asked to switch rooms and asked for a nice upgrade so I could “end the trip on a much better note.” I was told to pack up all of my belongings and leave them in the room and they’d be moved to my new room while I was out. Great. (Also, not great, because it’s no fun packing up all of one’s belongings 24 hours before departing, and was also a huge time suck at the start of my final day in NYC.) Reader, upon my return to the hotel in the late afternoon, I was informed the hotel was actually “at capacity” so I was moved down a floor to the same level of room. Very disappointing. Also felt they should have managed my expectations earlier. I got to my new room and settled in. I then took a nice shower, only to finish up and realize there were ZERO BATH TOWELS. So I dried myself with a face towel. Awesome. I received a refund of $155 and $140. Overall, approximately 24% off my bill, so about 1 night off of my 4 night stay. I’ll let you decide if that’s fair. I will say that the doorman was exceptionally kind, one of the bellhops as well, and one of the managers too. My room (a junior suite) was spacious and included a makeup mirror and full length mirror, a little wet bar, a fridge, and good A/C. The lobby looks lovely and was lively at times. Unfortunately, all of this was overshadowed by the roaches, which I was paranoid about during almost my entire stay. Joel Fabian, General Manager at Warwick New York, responded to this review Dear Debbie H,Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. While I am pleased to hear you found our team members kind and enjoyed aspects of your suite and our lobby, I am truly sorry that your overall experience fell short of expectations. Please accept my sincere apologies for the issues you encountered throughout your stay. The delay at check-in, the alarm disturbance, and especially the pest concerns you described are all unacceptable and not reflective of the standards we strive to maintain. We understand how distressing this must have been, and I regret the impact it had on your comfort and peace of mind.I also apologize for the inconvenience surrounding your room move and the lack of clear communication regarding availability, as well as the oversight with the missing bath towels. These are areas where we clearly missed opportunities to provide a seamless and supportive experience. Please know that your feedback has been shared with our leadership and housekeeping teams, as well as our pest control partners, to ensure immediate corrective measures are taken and to prevent this from happening again. While I’m glad we were able to provide some compensation during your stay, I understand your concerns and the frustration you’ve expressed. We truly appreciate your recognition of several members of our team, and I will be sure to share your kind words with them. Should you be open to it, we would welcome the opportunity to restore your confidence in us on a future visit.Regards,

Historic hotel in a convenient mid town location

    rating28 May 2026

Nice historic hotel conveniently located to theater district, museums, Central Park, and shopping. We were on the 6th floor, it was quiet, clean, and the beds were comfortable. We used the valet service, and enjoyed a drink in the bar after seeing a show. We have stayed here before and will stay again.
