This delightful, family-run hotel affords a wonderful location on Washington Square at the heart of Greenwich. It is just a few paces to a diverse selection of bars, restaurants and shopping venues. LaGuardia airport is 19 km away and it is 31 km to John F. Kennedy airport.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1902. 152 rooms are available to guests in a 9-storey main building and a 3-storey auxiliary building. Guests are warmly welcomed by English- and French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift. Everyday necessities can be purchased at the supermarket. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (for a fee).     A great base for traveling the city. We really enjoyed staying here. It’s not the fanciest (no fridge in the room, one bin/trash can for the bathroom and room, kind of dated decor) but the staff were all incredibly friendly and there was always coffee and tea available downstairs with a nice seating area, and pastries in the morning too - all included in the price. They booked our taxi when we left, which was very helpful.It’s near a cvs, and Tashkent supermarket, and the adiamo pizza nearby was lovely! We could travel the city easily from the subway but you’re in the heart of Greenwich so you can really feel part of the area. We would absolutely stay again.

    We stayed at the end of May and our stay was lovely. We arrived earlier and had planned to leave our bags with them while we walked around the city but our room was ready for us at 10am! Everyone we talked to was very friendly and helpful. Our room was nice and clean. The shower was very nice with great pressure. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel but I believe they have a little breakfast spread in the mornings. We did utilize the coffee bar and that was nice.The hotel is right next to Washington Square Park which was nice to walk around and hang out in. The area felt very safe - full of college students and tons of great food.We checked out early but wanted to still be able to walk around the city without luggage so they held our bags for us until we were ready.We would absolutely stay here again when we visit the city.

    Another Delightful Stay

    We have stayed at this hotel several times. It has always been a good experience. The location is perfect for all we like to do in New York, including visiting family and old friends. The many close by subway stops make getting around easy. The hotel itself is clean and attractive with many charming historical details. The rooms are quiet and comfortable and for Manhattan are really large with plenty of room for everything we bring with us. (Since we have many different activities, we need different clothes and shoes and other places we stayed in this neighborhood lacked closet space which made keeping our more formal clothing looking fresh somewhat of a nightmare.) But the best thing about staying here is the staff who treat us like VIPs. My husband came down with a bad cold at the end of our stay and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and caring!

    The lady who cleaned our room was exceptionally understanding as well as the reception team, particularly Alana. My gratitude to them. I lost an item and they searched for it, and mailed it to my home.
