    Westhouse: a true gem for an exceptional stay

    The Westhouse is a true gem, located in the theatre district with easy access to many sights in the city. You're just a short walk from Central Park, restaurants and theatre, without being too close to be disruptive. The vibe is elegant chill, the rooms are a good size for NYC, clean, quiet, and well appointed. Included in your stay is an excellent breakfast where you can dine indoors or on the terrace. In the evenings they offer a light fare and cocktails, as well as stunning sunset views from the terrace. The staff in every part of the hotel is very attentive and helpful. Special shout out to Vanessa and Nick at the front desk, they were exceptional throughout my stay!

    Everything was great! Perfect location. Love the breakfast and dinner/wine service add on.My only criticism is that the rooms could be cleaner and the bathrooms have no counter space or hooks….there is no place to set any belongings at all in the bathroom.     This is my third time in this hotel and I need to say that it is like 'being at home' - the sophisticated environment, the good location and the delicious bed would be enough to want to come back - but the attention to detail and the care of the attendants, waiters and cleaners make us always want to extend the accommodation.     Not a luxury hotel

    Hotel states its a luxury hotel and at first look it seems very nice. When you look closer all the woodwork is beat up, the inside is dark and the lounge is very worn. The carpets seemed new and a fresh coat of paint/wallpaper makes it look high end at first glance. The fire alarm went off in my room at 6:30, I was in the shower. I called the front desk, no one seemed concerned as I was the only one who called. I checked out within the hour. I will not go back.
