Cancelled my stay when I arrived due to over occupancy, did not offer any other accomodations or compensation. When asked to speak to the manager they said she was not there and unavailable. A total joke of a hotel Stay away.

Esmyne is awesome! So warm and accommodating.Of course you can trust this hotel brand. My room was clean, comfortable, quiet and accommodating. And it’s in California, which is just so gorgeous. Don’t worry about the traffic. Lol. And in this area, there are many places to eat nearby.

Gross, just gross
03 Feb 2025
Filthy and rude staff. First room they put me in had blood stains on the draperies and lampshades. Doors on the dressers are jammed and won’t close. When I asked to move, they said no rooms were available, and I pressed on. The dude said “did you do anything in there?” Huh? I don’t want to TOUCH anything. Magically he found another room. The place is empty. New room has blood stains on sheets, and the bathroom smells like low tide. You have to wear shoes on the filthy carpet. 4 stars? What a joke. If this wasn’t paid for already by my work I’d demand my $ back and leave. Motel 6 is cleaner Jason Ransom, General Manager at Aloft by Marriott Silicon Valley, responded to this review Ms. Boykin,I am terribly sorry for your current experience at our property and this is not the standard we hold ourselves to. I have had our housekeeping and maintenance teams visit your first room. We noticed you had a privacy sign on your door and I would like to send my staff to your current room tomorrow if possible. Please let me know by contacting gm@aloftsiliconvalley.com. I would also like to offer 25,000 BonVoy points if you are a Marriott BonVoy member. If not I would like to offer complimentary dinner, consisting of an appetizer, entree, and beverage from our restaurant. You can either partake in person in the restaurant or can order via room service should you prefer that option. You can sign it to your room and we will adjust it off prior to your departure. Again our apologies for your experience and if there is anything else I can do, please do not hesitate contacting me.Kind regards,

Extremely Unclean
01 Dec 2024
There was literally feces on the toilet. The room was disgusting. Cup marks on the tables and desk. No surface had been adequately wiped down. The sofa in my room was gross. When I asked the ladies at the front desk to be moved to a new room, they said none were available. This was interesting, as many people continued to check into (available) rooms after me (including some of my colleagues). The ladies did send a cleaner to the room, who cleaned the toilet for me. After I inspected her work, I still had to ask her to hit spots she missed - twice. The women who worked at the desk were nice, but not overly proactive, as they scrolled their phones and read during downtime.Towels were always dingy. This was just a disgusting place - one of the dirtiest hotels I’ve stayed in.The best part about this place is the bar and the ability to connect with people in the bar/lobby area. But I will not stay here again. I do not recommend.

A clean, modern hotel but understaffed with limited service.

My room was spacious and comfortable. However, housekeeping was sporadic and unreliable. Food was good when available, but it never started at the advertised time. At best it was 5 minutes late. At worst, the chef didn't show up that morning and I went to McDonalds. You need a car to stay here, but parking costs extra. There are no services in the immediate vicinity. There are shopping centers a few miles away. Jason Ransom, General Manager at Aloft by Marriott Silicon Valley, responded to this review Dear charmcat,Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience while staying with us. Your experience was below our standard.Providing the highest level of hospitality is our number one priority and I sincerely apologize for failing to meet your expectations. I have shared your feedback with the housekeeping and restaurant leadership teams to ensure the necessary guidelines are in place and reviewed to correct the items you mentioned.I hope you choose to stay with us again when your travels bring you back to the area.
