This family-friendly hotel is nestled on the banks of Newport Harbor, right in the centre of the city. Newport is only about 190 miles from New York City and only 60 miles from Boston; making it an ideal weekend getaway for those urbanites who want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Museums, art galleries, artisan shops and trendy bistros are all available within walking distance in the town. Arrive, park the car and leave it there until it’s time to leave; Newport is best experienced on foot or from the water via a cruise or water taxi!

In addition to 58 villas/houses, guests can also choose from a selection of 58 rooms. Guests are warmly welcomed by English-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. Like many others, my reservation was not honored

Like many of the other reviewers, my reservation was cancelled. I booked through RCI in July of 2025 for a week in August 2026. In May of 2026, the resort decided to cancel my reservation due to some issue. So don't expect that your reservation will be honored.

Overcharged me and lied about a refund

Never again! I booked two rooms online at a very fair rate for Newport in the summer. The online rate that I booked, (and saved a screenshot of my confirmation page) is not the rate I was charged at checkout. When I returned home and realized the massive difference, I contacted the front desk manager who agreed with my complaint and told me to file a dispute with my credit card company, and she assured me the dispute would come to her desk where she would immediately approve the refund. Well after many months of back and forth, none of that happened and I got stuck with a much higher rate than this very out of the way hotel was worth! Do yourself a favor and don’t trust this place!

We have stayed at this location in the past and we really enjoyed our stay. The room was nice and the view of the harbor was to die for. I only wish the kitchen area was a bit bigger, but we made the best of it. DIRTY AND NOT UPDATED

DISGUSTINGLY DIRTY. NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES. Feels like a Motel 6. From the parking lot to the room, NOTHING is maintained on this property. This is THE WORST WYNDHAM PROPERTY we have ever been to. The room was so dirty that I spent $50 having Walmart deliver cleaning supplies so I could clean the room myself. Instead of taking a nap after we checked in, I spent my first moments stripping the bed, washing the linens, and making a delivery order. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR YOUR POINTS!!! The ONLY positive thing is the location. It’s in the heart of Newport walking distance to everything. But the uncleanliness and the layout of our room made it an unpleasant stay. Great location, good amount of space, beautiful view

We had a wonderful couple of days in Newport. This location is perfect! A short drive to the beach and so close to great restaurants and shopping. We had a one bedroom, small kitchenette with a full size refrigerator and small freezer. We had breakfast in the room and packed sandwiches for the beach. Fun little bar downstairs- looks a bit divey but drinks and service excellent and outdoor seating overlooks harbor. View from from room was beautiful and rooftop deck is nice for morning coffee and a sunset drink. Parking was tight but we always had a spot in downstairs garage.
