    Left disappointed

    rating29 Mar 2026

Fell short but had potential. I’ll start with the bad. Casino atmosphere is doom and gloom here. I spent a lot of time in the casino over two days. I never saw anyone win on anything. Most people were complaining about how the slot machines sucked. The SportsBet was a joke. You can get way better odds on online gambling sites. Also staff was slow to switch tv to the games people had bets on. This is the only Sportbet that I wasnt offered a free drink after placing a large bet. By the way, $10 draft beers at the SportsBet bar is f-ing ridiculous. Temperature in the casino is in the 65-68 degrees range. A lot of people were wearing winter coats, stocking hats, and gloves in casino because it was so cold. We got a falls view room but you can’t see the falls. You can only see a mist of where the falls are. The bed was like sleeping on large rocks, impossible to sleep on. All six of the elevators go to the first 24 floors. This means the elevator will stop at least 3 or 4 times before reaching any of the higher floor rooms. You also have to scan your hotel key to use the elevator. There is also elevator police. I came in with sacks of breakfast food and a cardboard carrying case of coffees. The elevator cop stopped me, made me put my food and drink done and scan my card at the elevator cop desk. I had to scan the card multiple times because the elevator cop kept saying it wasn’t showing anything. There are several restaurants inside but prices are sky high and quality is average. The good about the property is free parking. Spa was top level. Fitness room was top level. In short, I can’t believe how uncomfortable the bed was. Also I can’t believe how crappy the atmosphere was inside the casino.

    decent hotel sad town

    rating25 Mar 2026

our stay was fair as it was close to the falls but it did seem that it was the only hotel at all near the falls so not many choices. the town around it seemed very sad as everything was closed or empty. our room was nice but there wasnt much time spent there but more than enough room for the group of us. it was clean and decorated well. it was quiet as we were on a high floor. check in seemed very slow as the front desk had 4-5 lines formed but only 3 people working the desk.i loved the heat lamp in the bathroom to help warm the space. if we ever go back we may stay here again.

    Very Nice Hotel & Casino

    rating14 Mar 2026

The hotel was a very clean and beautiful. Our room was #1426 we faced towards the falls. You couldn't see the falls, but see the fog coming from them. This was on the NY side and not the greatest location. You could walk to the falls. We did not. It was raining, windy and foggy most of our stay. You are connected to the casino which was nice. The pool and hot tubs looked great. The only problem was the chlorine smell was very heavy. It needs some kind of ventilation. I couldn't stay in the enclosed area. The 3 Sisters resturant was so so. For having a bus load of people they weren't prepared for breakfast. Opened at 7 am and couldn't handle the crowd, due to only 2 people were to open. They lost a lot of business. The corned beef skillet was excellent. My husband had an omelet that was delicious. The buffet was so so we did find something to eat. Not big eaters. Didn't pay us. The shop The Bear Claw had great pastries. We were there for 3 days. Wish the weather was nicer. .

Changed from 5 to 1 star

    rating02 Mar 2026

I previously gave this casino resort 5 stars, but after this last visit, I cannot say the same.I was not even playing, just watching, but I was shocked at how one of the dealers treated my friend. The dealer reminded me of the celebrity Seth Green, short, but with a pixie haircut and eyeglasses. After my friend hit a big number, he asked for a couple of quarters. The dealer responded in a sarcastic tone, “Well, I do not have navies anymore, so you are getting quarters.” It was not what he said, it was how he said it. Completely unnecessary attitude. My friend ignored it because he is polite like that.Later, my friend asked to spin the roulette wheel first before placing his bet. I now understand that the standard procedure is for the bet to be placed first before the wheel is spun. So the dealer was correct about the rule. However, the way he handled it was the problem. Instead of simply explaining it, he came across as sarcastic, and dismissive. When we tried to address it, he called his supervisor, and the interaction continued to feel extremely rude and defensive. Why can’t customer service staff simply explain procedures instead of shutting down guests?I also noticed he kept rushing the table the entire time. Very arrogant. It completely changed the vibe. What is surprising is that even after being treated that way, my friend still tried to leave him a tip. The dealer refused it and did not even apologize on how he treated my friend. That says a lot.Management really needs to retrain their staff. Respect and courtesy are not complicated. Customer service employees are there to provide a pleasant experience. Even if a guest misunderstands a rule, it can be explained politely. There is no reason to be an A-hole about it. Guests should not feel like they are being talked down to.I also believe customers should not feel like they are walking on eggshells. The interaction could have been handled with professionalism instead of attitude.
