  Location was nice. Easy beach access. Our room was clean and free of bed bugs. However, the elevator and stairs and walk ways all dirty and sticky. The value I would say was NOT worth it. We paid $1100 for 6 nights. We only stayed 5 due to issues that arose. Issues- room card key stopped working and had to have someone come up every time we wanted to access our room. -Ac didn’t work so our room was extremely hot. I have a kid who has seizures if too hot and they basically said too bad so sad. Said it was fixed when it wasn’t. Our room was over 80 degrees. Asked for a new room and declined. I love the OBX. Definitely go to the OBX just don’t stay here. A hotel right next door. Check that out instead.

  Great price and great value

  This is a great little hotel. The staff was very accommodating. Very helpful and knowledgeable. They have an indoor pool which is great. They're right on the shore and easy access to the waves. We stayed there for three nights and it was quiet and easy to get to. You also have access to the YMCA in kill devil hills by asking the front desk for the passes.   The staff is wonderful!

  It was our first visit. We were blown away by the service. Karen and Whitley made our stay extra special. The resort is in the perfect location. The onsite restaurant is great. The food is very tasty. Our room was spacious, clean, and above normal standards. We will be returning.   I would stay here again but steer clear of the restaurant.

  We had a very good time at this place, Alexia was very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was a Huge disappointment and I realize that they are a separate entity but they make an awful impression and it could affect people's perception of the hotel as a whole. We are sorry to read your restaurant comments, however - it's unusual to hear as reviews are consistently positive from both hotel guests and locals. Ownership is the same though the restaurant and hotel have separate review platforms. We hope you visit again to enjoy a more typical dining experience and all-around great stay.

  It was myself and my husband’s first time visiting the area, the room was very clean and was what we expected. The staff were friendly and helpful with anything we needed. I plan to visit and stay here again in the future.
