This hotel is located in the heart of International Drive. Pointe Orlando shopping and entertainment complex is easily reached on foot.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 672 rooms located in a 4-storey main building and 3 auxiliary buildings. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The resort has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift. Everyday necessities can be purchased at the supermarket. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Further services and facilities include a babysitting service, a childcare service, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Daily newspapers are available for purchase. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine.

Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. All rooms are carpeted and include a king-size bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. The resort has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

The pool complex ensures comfortable swimming with its indoor and outdoor pools and pleasantly heated water. Children can enjoy a special swimming area just for them. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. Guests can relax and enjoy the sun loungers and parasols provided. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the resort, including beach volleyball, volleyball, a gym, callisthenics and a spa. Parents can unwind while the kids can participate in an entertainment programme full of fun activities.

Meals

Dining facilities include a restaurant, a café and a bar. A continental breakfast guarantees a great start to the day. Staff are also happy to provide children's meals.

    Lose the tax and we'll be back

    The resort tax of $472 for 2 rooms for 2 weeks is scandalous great pool and 99% of staff are lovely especially Magi Willy and Elvis no price lists for the bar or shop are ridiculous as are the prices rip off PHM Guest Services, Guest Services / Front Office at Avanti International Resort, responded to this review Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed our pool area and that so many of our team members helped make your stay enjoyable.     This hotel ! On hotels.com comes up as a 4 star rating what a joke it’s a student accommodation at most a block of flats . I have a small window going onto a the foot foot way to the lift or stairs , I am expecting Al Pacino to come bursting in any moment. It’s got a noisy A/C a fridge making a hell of a noise also I’ve turned them off. There is no bottled drinks . The doors are ancient and painted by someone who doesn’t give a sh*t the ceils and walls are grotty and looks like a council flat from the 60s One word disgusting if you expect 4 stars maybe 1 PHM Guest Services, Guest Services / Front Office at Avanti International Resort, responded to this review Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.     Fantastic vacation

    Fantastic location , staff very nice , great amenities , lovely pool area , pool furniture looks a bit tired but not the be all and end all On site Starbucks which was a welcome treat , very close to all attractions ! The only downside was we weren’t told on checking in that we had to request our room to be cleaned , we figured that out after 4 days , cleaning was basic , no surfaces or floor cleaned . Fridge didn’t work but we ended up buying a cool box from Walmart , other than that we can’t fault the place at all PHM Guest Services, Guest Services / Front Office at Avanti International Resort, responded to this review Thank you so much for your wonderful review!     Having read the reviews on social media, it was with some trepidation that we went off on holiday, staying at the Avanti International Resort. There was no need to be concerned at all over the reviews, as we found the hotel to be absolutely fine and would happily book to go back. We requested a room in block 2 and although this was not possible for the first night, on the second day we moved rooms and could not have been happier with the overall experience. Room was fine (block 2 has the refurbished rooms), overlooking the pool. On a couple of days there was a shortage of pool towels but that was the extent of the issues. I had read that you could not get a sun lounger all day; people were waiting to be let in at 7.00am to reserve their bed and then disappear for the day; the pool area was dirty, strewn with litter. Every day there were plenty of beds available - irrespective of what time you went to the pool. There were the typical selfish holiday makers who put towels on the beds and disappeared for the day - but as mentioned, there were still always plenty of beds available. The pool area was cleaned daily. I would say that if there was any litter left around, this was entirely due to lazy holiday makers. Most days people would sit at the table and chairs with food from the poolside bar .. finish eating and then walk off leaving all the empty containers behind!!! They obviously thought this acceptable and unfortunately, the majority of the offenders were from the UK. Our room was "refreshed" on a daily basis and bedding changed every 4 days (another horror story was that there were continual queues in reception asking for clean towels and toilet paper). Never saw a queue in reception once, let alone asking for towels and toilet rolls.All the staff were really friendly and helpful. Yes, the "shop" was expensive but no more so than every other shop on-site in hotels on International Drive/Lake Buena Vista but Walgreens/Plaza Liquor is only a few minutes walk away if it was a real issue to pay on-site prices.Overall, I would happily return. You have to remember that this is classed as a "budget" hotel and you have to go with those expectations - you are not going to get a 5* experience for the cost of a family-friendly budget holiday. Yes, there were a couple of things that would have improved the aesthetics of the hotel, but definitely not enough for me complain or not book a return stay.My recommendation would be to ignore the bad reviews (especially on social media) and go and see for yourself.
