  "Threatened With Eviction Over a Payment Issue That Didn't Exist"

  I have stayed at many hotels and have never experienced treatment like I received at this property.During my stay, a reservation adjustment was needed so I could pay with my own Marriott Bonvoy card. Although the issue appeared to be resolved at check-in, I was later confronted regarding a supposed payment issue.The manager, Michael, informed me that my credit card was "a card that gets declined all the time" and threatened to remove me from the property. This occurred in front of my family and another guest.The problem? My card had not been declined. It has never been declined and Michael had no grounds to make that patently false claim. Adding insult to injury, Michael spent 20+ minutes trying to pull up 'evidence' of these non-existent card declines, which never materialized.This was a blatant lie based on Michael's error. What concerns me is Michael's aggressive and unprofessional manner in which the situation was handled, along with the refusal to verify the facts before accusing a paying guest of having a payment issue.I was in town attending my grandmother's funeral and found the entire experience humiliating and unnecessary.I have submitted a formal complaint to Marriott Corporate and hope future guests receive better treatment.   Clean, modern newer hotel with a bistro, bar and good service

  I’ve stayed at this newer Courtyard a few times and each time has been great. New, modern and sleek design and property is very clean. Check in is always smooth. They have a nice fire pit area. This location also offers a Starbucks. I don’t like that there is no free coffee other than what is in your room. They also have a full bar area and bistro for dining and drinks which is very nice. They also offer a small market with snacks and basic travel necessities. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. I love that the rooms have a refrigerator and a microwave. Legoland is right across the street so it’s definitely convenient if you’re visiting the park. Restaurants and limited shopping options are nearby such as TJMaxx. Overall I feel this property is a great value and offers comfortable accommodations so I will continue to return.

  Not for a couples or a quiet evening away

  We stayed one night, Jan 2026. We were excited about the bistro and bar on sight happy hour. We went to the lobby about 7pm for a drink. We were shocked to find the lobby crowded with kids! There were about 9, 8-14 year olds yelling, jumping over the booths, spilling water in the lobby floor and the parents were outside drinking and eating pizza around the lounge area, not parenting their kids. Management did nothing to quiet the kids or speak to the parents. We took our drinks out to the fire pit and were met with more shouting and kids running through the area, slamming gates and just being a nuisance. I'll never stay at this hotel again. The room was ok, smaller than I'd like. Management really needs to accommodate all it's guests not just the ones traveling with kids.   Very nice hotel

  We checked into this hotel on a recent trip. Our room was quite nice, clean and it was quiet too. Breakfast is not included in the room price but you can purchase it. The view from the room was nice and overlooked the lake. My only negative observation was that there was trash along the shoreline that detracted from the view. Someone should go out and clean it up.

  We have been staying here once a year since it opened .This little hotel punches way above its weight and acts like a Westin ! The staff are amazing and the little bistro while small prepares beautiful fresh food .Breakfast with avocado on toast is the best you will get . The rooms are generous and always super well cleaned as the cleaning staff are amazing .Gym is super big and well setup for a Courtyard and the pool is a nice size and very clean with a nice outdoor area and an open fire .I rate this hotel as good as a Westin !Bistro; Aralinda, Alisa, Dawn, Eva, Katelyn, Kevin, Jennifer, Winona.Front desk; Ashley, Tishann, Dawn, Malaejah, Jaicika.The cleaning team boss of Mimi and Myrna run this hotel with hospital grade cleaning !
