    This is a great resort for families. There is always something to do. We had a savanna view room so we were able to see giraffes as soon as we woke up. Don’t skip viewing all of the art throughout the resort as it has one of the largest collections of African art in the United States.

    The hotel was fine at best. No one attempted to help with bags upon arrival. Getting to/from the room was a hassle - the carpets are so thick it is difficult to roll luggage on. The walk from lobby to room was insanely long - though shorter than Kidani. The 1 bedroom villa was very old and run down. The rooms at Kidani were much nicer. Only 1 bathroom vs 2 at Kidani. Ultimately i dont know why anyone would stay here over Kidani.

    Our trip was great until my suitcase was taken from our room and I reported the incident to the front desk, guest services, and everyone else I could think of and was repeatedly told “that’s strange I’ll report this to management” yet this never happened. Worst end to a vacation I’ve had in a long time. Still no effort at amends has been made. I am incredibly disappointed in Disney and likely won’t stay with them again.

    My family stayed at Jambo House for five nights over our February break. The property is very pretty, but what really left a lasting impression was the staff. Chef Krystal in particular went above and beyond to ensure that we had options for our child with dietary challenges. She wasn't just behind the scenes either - she came to our table and chatted with us and our kids. I've never experienced hospitality at this level and would recommend Jambo House to others.
