Love this hotel. We stay here every time we head to Disney. The buses are fast. The housekeeping will bring you anything needed.

    Coronado Springs Vacay

My daughter and I visited for the second time in January/Feb this year, the first time was October 2001 pre the bridges across the lake or the tower. We felt the resort was slightly less welcoming and friendly than Port Orleans Riverside. I really enjoyed the resort but my daughter who was 24 at the time of this visit wouldn’t go back, she found it too busy especially in the tower, we stayed in Casitas building 4 then building 5 due to a water leak into our room from the room above we had to move on day 7, Casitas 5 is very handy for the laundry, gym, quiet pool and for bus stop 2 which is the first stop on the loop around the hotel, although surprisingly their was a distinct smell of weed around building 5. We enjoyed the food in the food court as we had the free QS dining plan, the pool bar is nice and one of the female bar staff there was really lovely, also one of the cast members clearing outside tables near the food court was really friendly and welcoming but there were a lot of people staying there who were walking around smoking, spitting, one elderly lady was really not very nice at all to my daughter who has bad anxiety and it really tainted her holiday, her grandson actually stepped in and apologised to my daughter, there were a lot of cheerleaders staying in the resort and the majority were well behaved but some were very rude in the food court, showing off in front of friends, jostling people in the walk way to the tower and in the area they were staying knocking on doors and running away late at night, being noisy and generally unruly and unsupervised by their chaperones! There was a big group of Brazilian teenagers staying, around 100 plus and their behaviour was exemplary. It was an excellent time of year to visit and we had blue cloudless skies every day, were able to walk around in comfort with less humidity but still warm enough to swim and sunbathe, although they did have the coldest snap since 1989 while we were there it didn’t effect our holiday although watching fantasmic wrapped in blankets at -5 was a tad chilly. All in all we had a great Disney holiday after not going for 12 years but we won’t stay at Coronado Springs again we’ll go back to Port Orleans Riverside.

    Really Enjoyable Experience!

    rating31 May 2026

This was my first time staying at a Disney resort, and I had no idea what to expect - we were absolutely pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed it (especially as we're not typically resort-goers!) Yes, the walks from the casitas can be long, and we in fact split our stay between the casitas and the tower (and would recommend the latter, as we preferred the size and layout of the rooms there), but the on-site amenities more than made up for it. The Maya Grill is a fantastic sit-down option, and the grab-and-go options were incredibly convenient; we didn't use the shuttle service and instead drove to and from the Parks, but the parking is ample and convenient. With one glaring exception, the staff was incredibly lovely, friendly, and helpful and the service was really fantastic. The noise level is low (great for work + play balance), despite the resort hosting several corporate conferences while we were there, and the place is absolutely spotless; we did lock in a promotional rate but honestly would have paid more for the level of service and the on-site amenities. High reco, especially if you're traveling with older kids or as a group of adults.

    Coronado Springs Resort

A very beautiful resort hotel. Great comfortable rooms. It's Disney's convention resort, but if there's no convention going, it's a great big place to stay. Great restaurants and quick food areas. If you want when you stay on property you can drive to the parks and not be charged for parking so you can leave anytime you want. It's also good to just walk around the property. It's kinda expensive sometimes but you can find deals sometimes. No noise problem.

We'll go someplace else next time

    rating15 May 2026

Everyone is supposed to be able to check in at 3. We were there at 2:30 and asked if we could get in early, the reply was no. At 3 I asked if our room was ready, and it was still a no. At 3:30 I called and asked if it was ready now and they said yes. So I tried to get in and neither my card nor my phone would open the door. So I tracked down a staffer and he let me in. I was finally notified at 3:55 that we could get in my room, or almost an house after check-in. No apology or explanation was given. Not the best way to start off the trip. The room was average but clean. The elevator was filthy and poorly maintained. One additional comment. I left one morning to get some gas and when I came back (we were in Casita 1) to the parking lot I thought I could get a closer space, since some guests would have journeyed out for the day, but that was not the case as I saw the cleaning staff taking all the closest spots. That really shouldn't happen.
