This hotel is located close to Orlando's attractions: 2 km from SeaWorld, 4 km from Disney World, 8 km from Universal Studios and 5 km from the Convention Center. Orlando airport lies some 19 km away.

Facility

The resort has 432 rooms, which are located on 6 storeys and are reachable by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine are available. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The resort has wheelchair-accessible facilities. Film fans will find plenty of 'lights, camera, action' at the cinema. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Other services include a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service (for a fee), a laundry service and a hotel shuttle bus. Complimentary newspapers are available.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony is included as standard in some rooms. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. A safe and a desk are also available. There is a fully-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, tea/coffee station, dishwasher and oven. There is also a washing machine and an ironing set. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a stereo system, a DVD player, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Bathrooms include a hairdryer and are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

Sport

While the adults swim a few laps in the outdoor pool, children can enjoy splashing about in their own swimming area. Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub offer the perfect way to unwind. A terrace with sun loungers and parasols is available. For guests who wish to keep active, beach volleyball and volleyball are available. Sports enthusiasts are also offered a wide range of indoor activities, including a gym, billiards, callisthenics and aerobics. Guests of the resort can pamper themselves with spa treatments and facilities in the wellness area. Services include a spa and hydrotherapy treatments or, for a fee, massage treatments. Activity coordinators organise an entertainment programme for adults and children.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a café and a bar. A number of specialities await guests in the air-conditioned, non-smoking restaurant. A delicious breakfast is an excellent reason to rise and shine. At lunch and dinner, guests can order dishes à la carte or choose a set menu. Staff are also happy to provide children's meals. The resort offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    We have just returned from staying here for 14 days . Lots of positives Large apartment we had 2 bed and 2 bath plenty of space . Handy to have the washer & dryer came home with no holiday washing . Nice pool area and pool towels and beds available , small pool bar and small take away cafe /shop but had a nice limited menu . Don’t forget It’s an apartment block not a hotel so there aren’t the full hotel amenities Reasons this isn’t a 5 star review Location is on the very end of I-drive Guest services not as friendly /helpful as other resorts Resort fee expensive especially when not parking a car - perhaps offer two rates with or without car parking Overall would recommend as a. Self contained family apartment stay

    My family and I have been staying at Floridays Resort Orlando since 2014, and after all these years, they still make us feel like family every time we visit. As Florida residents, this has become our favorite destination for family staycations and truly feels like our home away from home.For this trip, we needed a last-minute reservation, and Mike went above and beyond to accommodate our family. He was able to find us a ground-floor three-bedroom handicap-accessible suite, which was exactly what we needed. His kindness and willingness to help made the entire check-in process stress-free.As always, our suite was clean, spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. We also received vouchers for the onsite café, where we enjoyed a delicious breakfast before starting our day.The exceptional customer service, comfortable accommodations, and welcoming atmosphere are exactly why we continue to return year after year.     Nice stay, spacious, clean, good location

    Had a recent stay in a 3 bed in block B. It overlooked car parks and despite some noise around 8am some days, which sounded like a strimming noise, it was a well situated room close to the pool and reception.Room was tidy and was always serviced to a clean standard, with nice presentation to towels and well re stocked with toilet rolls and kitchen/dishwasher supplies.The rooms are very dated and only gripe was that a couple of the drawers in the bedrooms wouldn’t stay closed. This hotel could do with room revamps especially as the reception area gives off a new/modern vibe until you receive keys and arrive to a dated room. Close to parks, didn’t use the free shuttles as found Uber/Lyft suited our itinerary better. Wouldn’t rule out staying again, but personally open to what others offer on a similar scale (esp the 3 bed option) so I will personally be researching a more modern room when returning to Florida.     Stayed for 14 nights at Floridays with my family including a 14,11 and 8 year old. This is a big complex with multiple buildings, we were in building E about a 5-10 min walk the main pool and reception.We were in a 3 bedroom apartment and on arrival it was clean, tidy and extremely sufficient for what we needed.All the cooking utensils were available and a large fridge freezer. Our building was quiet and well maintained.I agree with other review that the apartments are extremely dated and could do with a facelift but were clean and comfortable.All staff we come across were extremely friendly and helpful when needed.     What an amazing vacation i had ! Floridays was so good to us, the front desk agents and bartender were very friendly and helpful ! The pool wasnt freezingCold which was the best part, the room was huge and very clean! Very close to Disney as well & all the stores my children love ! My 2nd time staying here and i will for sure come back soon!
