Location

The resort is located on Lake Bryan in Orlando with access to numerous water activities. It is within 5 km of the Downtown Disney area, 6.5 km from SeaWorld, 13 km from Universal Studios and 14 km from the Magic Kingdom amusement park. This makes the resort centrally situated for Orlando attractions, shopping and dining.

Facility

The apartment hotel has a lift and features 216 apartments. Guests are warmly welcomed by English-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities available at the hotel include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. The grounds of the apartment hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the for a fee garage or the for a fee car park. Other services include a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry.

Rooms

Rooms feature a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. Air conditioning, individually adjustable heating and a fan ensure comfortable temperatures. Most of rooms include a balcony or terrace as a standard feature. All rooms are carpeted and have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A safe provides secure storage for guests' personal property. Additional features include a refrigerator, a stovetop, a microwave, a tea/coffee station and a dishwasher. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a stereo system, a CD player, a DVD player, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a whirlpool bath. A hairdryer is also provided. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

Sport

Guests can strike that perfect balance between exercise and relaxation in one of the 2 indoor and outdoor pools. The freshwater pool area, which is in part heated, also has a children's pool. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation. The hotel offers an extensive outdoor sports programme, including tennis, beach volleyball, basketball and crazy golf. With water skiing, jet skiing, paddle boating, canoeing and kayaking available, fans of water sports will have plenty to choose from. Sport and leisure facilities at the hotel include a gym, badminton and aerobics. A spa and massage treatments are available in the wellness area. Guests of all ages have the opportunity to enjoy a fun entertainment programme.

    Bed bugs!! Stay away.All thjey did when I called to notify them was tell me they were sorry. NOT good enough. I will NEVER stay at a Hilton or any affiliation with them.     Great resort for winter retreat.

    Fabulous resort. Friendly helpful staff. The weather was horrible this past January and early February. I stayed four weeks in the three bedroom and it was perfect. This was my 15th trip here since I started with Diamond and now HGVMax. I like the improvements but still wish they had a place for Happy Hour or small events especially for members.

    Pushy Sales Pitch and Racoon’s

    When staying here as a non member of their vacation club be sure you understand the sales pitch you must endure. This process lasted over 3 hours. First you need to leave your property and drive 20 minutes across town. Once you arrive at the other property’s sales office you sign in giving them all your info including drivers license. Then you meet with your sales person. After a get to know each other discussion you get moved into a sales presentation room. Here you are told all about Hilton and its properties. This last 30 plus minutes. Then when done you go back with your salesperson and they put together a calculation of your upcoming vacations and put a big number on what these will cost. After some more small talk they then take you around the property on golf carts showing you all the amenities. After the 30 -40 minutes of property tour you go back to the sales office. This sales office is all about pressure. They put a number in front of you that’s over 50k and ask your to buy in because it’s so much cheaper than your upcoming vacations. I’m not one to make a quick decision and get put off instantly when pressured. So after telling the salesperson no, they go talk to their boss and come back with a lower number. Then I again tell them no. Now you wait 10 minutes for the middle level manager to come over and try to close the deal. After telling him no it’s back to the salesperson pushing on you some more. Then the boss comes out and makes another pass at you. This is ridiculous. After telling them no and starting to loose my temper with them they understand we are not buying. We then need to hand a form in at another building so we don’t get charged the full price. Evidently this is all required when you get the room at the rate they advertised. Long story short it feels like a slimy used car dealership in there. At this point I will look for other properties on my next vacation and verify who owns them and if there is any BS like this. If these properties are a Hilton brand or Hilton themselves I’m going to keep looking. Secondly the raccoons at this property are out of control. Walking the property with my family in the evening we ran into 5 large Raccoon’s on the sidewalk. Thankfully they saw us and ran away. After talking to the staff they acted like it was nothing and said they are harmless. The next evening we were in the pool. There are 2 trash cans by the door to the gym at the main office. There was a raccoon inside the pool fence and then he climbed in the trash cans. When pointing him out to the staff they joked and said “ oh that’s Jimmy, he is harmless”. This morning I was walking the property before heading to the gym. Again Raccoon’s in the middle of the sidewalk looking for food. Between the used car salesman tactics and the raccoons I’m never coming back.     Nice and relaxing stay

    We stayed here for 2 weeks last summer (2 adults, 3 sons ages 23,21,17) . Room was amazing. We had a 3 bed/3 bath condo with a wonderful screened in balcony. We loved sitting out there in the evening after a long day at the parks. Views of the lake were stunning. Pool was nice. Mini golf course was fun but course could use a little love. Staff was always very attentive and friendly. Will definitely stay here again!

    Quite nice. Our unit had been redone fairly recently, except for the showers, which still had very old fixtures. It had 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms as well as a nice screened porch. You couldn’t set the thermostat below 68 degrees, which was annoying, but the ceiling fans in every room helped. It was very clean, though the towels were pretty thin. Water pressure wasn’t great – not terrible, but could have been better. Granted we’re seniors, but the TVs were horrible to operate – way too complicated! And there was no good reading light anywhere. It was nice to have 2 pools available; one of them was usually quiet. The mini-golf course could use some updating, but it was still fun. The property is in a great location – close to the parks, shopping and dining. There always seemed to be some staff member around cleaning things and keeping the property nicely kept. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful, but the "VIP rep" quit answering my calls and emails, which was really irritating, not to mention unprofessional. Overall, it was a great stay and we’d certainly return.
