Location

Clermont, often referred to as 'Gem of the Hills', is a picturesque town conveniently located between Orlando and Daytona Beach. There are endless opportunities to enjoy one of the many year-round festivals, find a vintage treasure at one of the great antique shops or discover the magnificence of nature while visiting one of the many lakes. This hotel is just a short drive from many popular Florida attractions, like the Walt Disney World Resort, SeaWorld or Universal Studios in nearby Orlando.

Facility

87 non-smoking rooms are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The hotel offers a number of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a TV room. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car. Other services include room service and a laundry service. To assist guests with their business and communication needs, the business centre offers a fax machine.

Rooms

    This was our first time at this Hilton property, though definitely not our first time staying in Clermont.PROS:- Maria at the front desk. She went above and beyond throughout our entire stay, helping answer every possible question we threw at her. She was amazing! Giselle was awesome too.- Small but clean and tidy room.- Free parking + decent breakfast = bonus!- Excellent location with numerous restaurant and shopping opportunities within a short walk or a short drive away.CONS:- Great to have a guest laundry on site ($2 per load), but there was only one washer and one dryer for the entire hotel.- Whilst our room was generally clean, the refrigerator in the room didn’t look as though it had seen disinfectant in a few years.- No recycling on property.- People (not sure if it was guests or the contractors replacing the carpets on the third floor) were smoking in the stairwells.We stayed here to try something different, but I really do still prefer Home2Suites with their much larger rooms and full-size fridges, even though they charge for parking……… Marivel Ochoa, Sales at Hampton Inn & Suites Clermont, responded to this review Thank you for your review and for recognizing Maria and Giselle, we truly appreciate it!

    Stayed two nights. Room very comfortable and spacious. Well, the mattress on the side near the bathroom was a little "worn". Chandler at the front desk was helpful as we were paying for 2 rooms, 1 with points and cash. Plenty of free parking. Get to breakfast early. It was crowded on a Sunday morning!

    Excellent hotel, had everything we wanted for our stay, from check in to check out everything was good. The room was large with a sofa and a large comfortable bed. Staff were all very helpful. The breakfast had a very good choice. Plenty of fresh fruit and yogurt as well as hot breakfast

    Got to the room. Staff is friendly. Room and surrounding is clean. No safe. No drawers although they have 3 little wire baskets to place socks and underwear. Valuables are checked in at check in desk. Had to request a walk-in shower. They said that they meet Hilton standards. Good to know. From now on I will find a place with better standards.

    Friendly staff, clean rooms, good parking. Overall, it was pretty quiet. There is a restaurant walking distance and shopping nearby. We were just passing through for one night and this was a great choice right off the highway. No drama, just a restful stay.
