Location

This resort hotel is located on a 52-acre plot, which lies off of Palm Parkway in the heart of the attractions area in Orlando. Walt Disney World(r), Universal Studios(r) Orlando, Sea World(r) and Aquatica are all in close proximity to the resort and guests can enjoy convenient access to more than 94 championship golf courses. Orange County Convention Center is just 10 minutes away and Orlando International Airport is some 20 minutes from the resort.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 228 rooms. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service, a safe and a cash machine.     Totally by accident stumbled upon this hotel as my base for Universal Orlando. I guess that there is not much to say here. It is a huge Hilton complex, parking was free, breakfast was not included, wifi was excellent. Had a problem with turning off the fan in my room, there were only two settings in the A/C control panel – “on” and “auto”, an employee was quick to come up; turned out that the fan had a separate control. Pity I hadn’t asked the employee about the coffee maker – there was no description of how to use it, it would not turn on even though there was enough water for two cups, so I resorted to using the microwave to get hot water. Later, upon checkout, was told what I should have done and why it would not turn on even with enough water (forgot by now).My studio room was huge.Don't know why I thought that there would be a shuttle to Universal; there was none. But it took only 15 minutes or so to drive, so it was still okay.

    Hotel Awesome/Grand Vacation Sales Liars & Thrives!

    We truly like staying at the Park Soliel. Very clean and the staff is wonderful.I only gave it a 3 because I’d the Grand Vacation staff. The sold us a passage the last time we were here. We were told when we bought the package that we would not have to sit through the presentation again. Well that was a lie. If we don’t sit through it again they will charge us $500. We even asked the sales people several times about the presentation and they said no, we wouldn’t have to attend another one.The person that called about us making a reservation with our package told us that the sales people often lie to make a sale. She said she heard this from customers all the time.We do not want to purchase anything and we still have to sit through this presentation or be charged $500. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A PRESENTATION!!!!. And several times we haven’t gotten our Hilton Honors Points. It’s all a scam!!!

    HORRIBLE experience that made my Mother's Day weekend so stressful! The guy who booked my original reservation booked the WRONG hotel (one word difference) & I was told happened frequently in Orlando. Lake Buena Vista Palace/Lake Buena Vista. I wanted the Palace because the lazy river(my mom’s fav), & check the recording of the booking and you will hear which hotel I confirmed over & over with the lazy river. I called to let them know I will be checking in late and realized he booked me at the WRONG hotel at 8:56pm on 5/8. Once I realized the mistake I tried to get a hold of someone to help solve the issues. I was on the phone with numerous people from 8:56pm-10:35pm from the HGV call center and they did NOTHING. One guy was whistling in the background as he was “trying” to get a supervisor. NEVER once would a supervisor work with me. The Palace hotel manager was the BEST and got me a room at the correct hotel. He tried reaching out to HGV and no one would help him that night. Finally Michelle at HGV told me to stay at the correct hotel & my reservation will be switched(10:35 pm- listen to the recording). On 5/9, the hotel manager & I called numerous times trying to get support. After spending about 6 hour (21 hr window)trying to get it solved, Jaiden R. helped/submitted the issue to her supervisor. She was so kind and started working on switching the reservation over with her supervisor/hotel manager. I went to the presentation & almost purchased into the ownership but couldn’t stop thinking of the nightmare experience trying to get quality customer service help. They wasted so much of my time with my mom and kids that I couldn’t commit to a company that isn’t going to value supporting customers. I paid twice and still waiting to hear back about my reimbursement. Be cautious doing business with a company who doesn’t value supporting costumers when HGV made the mistake!! I shouldn’t have had to deal with this added stress especially on Mother’s Day weekend!

    I came here with family and upon checking in I was met with an employee under the name Zureilys. Instantly started to make me feel uncomfortable when she stated “I was handsome”. This was incredibly unprofessional, therefore had to take my family elsewhere. My wife and kids were in the car and I let my wife know about the incident. will be reaching out through corporate.

    The first impression is at check-in where they hound us to go to an "informational meeting" on buying the vacation package. It took 7 times saying no- getting firmer each time before they backed off.Then, we went to our room- it was directly off the parking garage so you could hear people hooting and hollaring while waiting to take the elevator to real halls of rooms. 90% of the rooms had balconies, ours did not. It was a clear desperate use of every square foot and it left us greatly disappointed. This is how a "Hilton Rewards" customer is treated- to a low level room in a terrible location- I would hate to see how "regular" customers are treated. I have NO idea WHY you would tuck away 4 rooms next to the parking garage, which then eliminates a chance of a balcony. Additionally, trash and used linens would just sit in the hall... for HOURS. So, coming back from an outing, we were greeted by trash- one day it was 7:30 pm... If I wanted a crappy room location, no balcony and to see trash- I would have saved a great deal of money and booked at a "lower" hotel.-Disappointed Hilton Rewards Member.
