Location

The hotel is within 5 minutes' walk of Downtown Disney, where guests will find numerous restaurants, bars and nightlife as well as premium outlet shops. Walt Disney World Resort is just 5 minutes by car from the hotel and SeaWorld, Discovery Cove and Aquatica are all 7 minutes' drive away. Universal Orlando is 10 minutes' drive from the hotel, the centre of Orlando and the Amtrak train station are both roughly 20 minutes' drive, and Daytona Beach and Daytona International Speedway are both around an hour by car from the hotel.

Facility

Guests have a choice of a suite, 90 single rooms and 232 double rooms located in a 14-storey main building and a 7-storey auxiliary building. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The resort has wheelchair-accessible facilities and 5 lifts. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Other services include a babysitting service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service and a hotel shuttle bus. A business centre with fax machine and projector is available. 7 conference rooms are available for lectures, presentations and meetings.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. A balcony is among the standard amenities of some rooms. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed and a sofa bed. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a microwave and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. The resort has 323 non-smoking rooms.

Sport

A dip in the refreshing outdoor pool is not to be missed. Even on grey days, guests can always go for a swim in the indoor pool. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. For guests who wish to keep active, tennis, crazy golf and golf are available. Sport and leisure facilities at the resort include a gym and table tennis. Various wellness options are available at the complex, including a spa, a sauna, hydrotherapy treatments and a solarium. Additional amenities include an entertainment programme for children with a number of fun activities.

Meals

The dining area includes a bar. Great food and friendly service await guests in 2 air-conditioned restaurants. At breakfast, guests serve themselves at the generous buffet. Various dishes can be ordered à la carte for lunch and dinner. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The resort also offers special catering options. The resort offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    What a great place with great staff!

    I recently stayed at this Holiday Inn for two nights in conjunction with an event I hose (monthly for 13 years). As usual, my experience was wonderful. Staff there are amazing, especially Jaime, Eleazer, and Mary Myers. They have been there for years and consistently provide above-and-beyond service. Staff at the front desk are pleasant and welcoming. The resort was very clean, and our room was well appointed and spacious. The food was wonderful at the bar and the restaurant. Guests at our event rave about their hamburgers and chicken tenders. We also love that the resort is just a half block from Disney Springs. This is the place to stay if you're looking for a reasonably priced hotel within walking distance of Disney.     Shout out to Ecmelin, who made sure our room was clean every day and always provided fresh sheets and towels. Their attention to detail was greatly appreciated and helped make our stay comfortable.The only negative was the toilet, which had a weak flush and could use some maintenance. Other than that, we had a pleasant experience.     I had a wonderful vacation with my friends. Excellent location very close to theme parks and Disney Springs. RJ made our check in very quick and easy, lovely service, extreme clean environment. Sebastián was wonderful at the front very helpful we had a lot of luggage and he was very nice very quick to help us with everything. Overall staff is very professional very nice, would 100% recommend!     Wasn’t the easiest finding the room but we got there then after getting back late from Disney springs we found out the toilet wouldn’t flush so Scott G came and fixed it with no problem and did not complain one time and had a great attitude doing it.     The overflow hotel at the Holiday Inn was so clean. We really enjoyed our stay and their food was really phenomenal!
