  This was seriously the worst experience ever! Me and my friend booked a room for one night. We ended up leaving at 130 am and went to a different hotel! The AC unit was so loud, it sounded like a motor next to my ears! The floor was so dirty , there was dirt everywhere! On top of it we saw roaches! Do not stay in this dirty hotel!!!!!!   If you are expecting a full service experience, this is not for you. If you are looking for good value and want to eat in your room, this is it. My room was clean and everything worked. The parking lot was clean and it was quiet. Norman was very kind as was Lisa.   Staying here is a risk to your physical safety- sexual assault

  This has been the WORST experience at a hotel in my life. This is also my first time writing a negative review. I did not plan on doing this but saw no other option. Shout out to Lisa at the front desk and Norman! Who are complete liars who will smile to your face. They said they would refund me for the 2 nights no questions asked, because of the utter mess there. They lied, they then lied to booking.com, and again to corporate because they have not done so, telling corporate it will take '48 hours' to process. It has been over 2 weeks and this situation occurred almost a month ago. From the plumbing issued and cigarettes smoke (room one) being moved (they said 10 minutes, waited over 40 minutes in the lobby without a person in sight) and a multitude of other issues and 2 rooms later for a 2 night stay. The kicker was a rough, burly looking man walking into my room at night when I was in bed. He could have assaulted me, I was alone, in bed, and terrified. If you can avoid this place, I RECOMMEND DOING SO AT ALL COST. Staying here is a risk to your safety.   HORRIBLE place to stay and dishonest!

  We stayed at Hometown studios on Colonial drive in Orlando on December 28, 2023. It announced on the web site to be dog friendly but once we got there we had to argue about letting our dog in as they were refusing. Took a screen shot of the publicity and showed it to them. Finally let us in. Only to find another dog on second floor already there!! Our room was filthy so we ended up sleeping in our sleeping bags (got them from our camper van) and our own pillows. I passed the broom (again got it from our van) as the floor was crunchy with dirt. When we left the next morning we took pictures of the room. Left it a bit cleaner than when we went in!! We had made a $50 security deposit, were told they would give it back but never did! Went back for that on January 9th before leaving Orlando for up North. The manager, Cameron, looked it up and said that it was being retained by the Corporation by a certain Alissa and DIDN'T KNOW WHY it was kept. You'd think that the manager would KNOW!!! Will open a legal dispute when we get back home. It's a question of PRINCIPAL and what is right and wrong!! Feel ripped off for NO REASON and will NEVER go back to any sub-contracted hotel by RED ROOF!!!
