  Fantastic hotel and BRILLIANT staff

  I would give more stars if I could. We came to this hotel for 3 weeks and we WILL be returning. The room was lovely (2 queen beds) and very roomy for two of us. Cleaned very well by the cleaning staff who were always polite. Front staff always welcomed us and wished us a good day. They were also very attentive and super friendly. It had a very homely feel and it made the holiday even more special. Pool and fire pit area super clean, laundry room easy to use. Breakfast was well stocked with a variety of foods to offer. I cant express my thanks to all staff at this hotel. We will see you next year. Claire and greg 😀

  Special shout out to Ms. Nadia- she’s one of the cleaning ladies that was continuously keeping the main lobby and eating areas clean. She radiates joy and positivity to anyone who passes her, telling them to have a “beautiful, wonderful day!” I told my kids we should all strive to be more like Nadia. No matter the job at hand, to do it with a positive attitude and kindness in our hearts! God bless Ms. Nadia!We stayed here for three nights as part of a Bluegreen vacation special and had a great experience at the hotel. Our room was clean, we had everything we needed, we had a room with a separate living area/ kitchen and having the extra space was so nice! They had a really good continental breakfast with plenty of choices. They also offer shuttle service to the universal parks.We had to attend the Hilton/ Bluegreen vacation sales pitch meeting at the Fountains resort to get the special pricing that we signed up for through Cabellas. The lady who gave the intro presentation was great, the gentleman we were assigned to Jose, was also very kind and pleasant, the experience wasn’t bad at all until one of the sales floor managers Joseph, got involved. He was extremely pushy and was not accepting no for an answer (especially after everyone else promised this would not be a pushy, twist your arm, sales experience) after we finally felt the need to give a reason and defend why we had to say no at this time, he belittled us and became very disrespectful of our reasoning. My husband had to get very firm with him and tell him we were seriously done and even after that he came back with a third offer. We could tell our sales rep was even getting embarrassed by Joseph’s behavior. We did speak to a director at the end to let them know this man was out of line with his tactics and was not representing Hilton well. They actually have a really great program and when we’re in a better place financially, we’d consider joining but it won’t be through the group in Orlando.   Fantastic Stay, Book this Right Away!

  Great hotel, very close to universal studios, city walk and Islands of Adventure. Room was large, and the sofa bed when opened was very comfortable. The queen mattresses in the other room were ok. That's the only opportunity here at this hotel is that I think the beds could be more comfortable. Now you could always get some extra pillows and and put them behind or under your back, etc otherwise the breakfast was good and had a good variety of options. Plenty of seating inside to eat as well there are tables outside that you can eat at. The parking is plentiful as there is parking on both sides but of the hotel. I found parking on the poolside was very plentiful. The elevators were not optimal at times. There are two elevators and one you had to hit floor 3 first before your floor that you were headed to. Not once ever did I have to wait for an elevator. I stayed on the fourth floor and had initially requested the 5th floor. On the 4th floor we were facing like an off ramp from a highway but we never heard any noise from the highway, In fact you could see some tourist sites which was really neat. The air-conditioning in the room was good. The toilet and shower were together and separated from them is the vanity sink area which is nice so someone could brush their teeth while the shower or toilet are in use by another. The staff couldn't have been any more friendly or accommodating. They have a text communication feature/option with them and I thought it was great. I used it a few times and one time I had asked for the sheets to be changed, they did change them while we were out for the day. The refrigerator was a full size one, there is a kitchenette area that was very clean, functional and I did not see any bugs my whole stay there. The room smelled clean the whole time and the carpet was very clean. The toilet, vanity area all were clean. The hallway was clean and even smelled good. Also to note I never heard any of my neighbors. The fellow clientele were diverse and very respectful to each other, people were kind, civil and patient when at the buffet which I found very refreshing. Even the other hotel guests children were very well behaved. There seemed to be families- whether a mom and a dad, multigenerational or parent with kids , business people, couples and singles staying here, which indeed made the place feel so comfortable and inclusive. We also got to experience the weds night snack feature and we had nac n cheese, pulled pork sliders and other goodies, would be nice if that was a 7 day offering or even Mon through Thursday but nonetheless that was wonderful and delicious! Overall this is a great hotel and my family had plenty of room to relax at the end of a fun-filled day. The Homewood suites is in a great location and I will definitely stay here again! I recommend this place 100%. Also this hotel is about 20 to 30 minutes away from Disney world and maybe 10 minutes away from SeaWorld. My main reason for picking this hotel was due to have 2 rooms, the breakfast (included) , free parking ( or included parking) and the proximity to Universal Studios. There also is a bus shuttle to the theme parks, universal City walk area but we didn't use it because we get free parking at city walk and we just drove since we had our own car.
