    I chose this hotel because the price was good and was near my conference and near the airport. Other thing that got my attention was breakfast included, however the breakfast has abundance of carbohydrate and no protein. The hotel is a little aged , so the air conditioning machine is noisy, if you are sensitive to this feature, this is not a good option to sleep well. I bought the hotel reservation on February 2026 as La Quinta by Wyndham Orlando South and then when I arrived on April 2026 the name was changed for Baymont.

    When we got into the room on April 16th we saw roaches in the bathroom so went to check out of course. The lady at the front desk tried to offer us another room but we declined so she offered a refund along with our deposit back. As of April 20th I still haven’t received my deposit or my refund back. They tried to blame my bank as the reason I haven’t gotten my deposit and keep saying I have to wait for the manager to come in for the refund every time I call them. Do not stay here. It is nasty with roaches, bad service, and they lie about their policies involving money.

    When I booked the map showed this hotel across from Universal. It was not. There were bugs in the room. The room smelled like mold. The staff did not know the password for public computer to print and when u figured out it was the building address the printer ink was all dried up. Mild in the room.
