This fabulous boutique-style hotel lies on International Drive in Orlando, within a few minutes’ walk of the Wet n' Wild water park and some 1.6 km from Universal Orlando.

Facility

155 rooms are located on 2 storeys and can be reached by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a safe, a cash machine and a drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. Additional facilities include a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park.     This hotel was wonderful. Great staff, friendly and courteous. The breakfast had many choices, hotel was very clean. We would definitely stay here again! The only problem we had was transportation from the airport to the hotel, definitely call before your flight to make arrangements for pickup. We were hitting and missing with our calls for pickup when we got there!     Close to parks with no resort fees

    I liked this hotel. We paid $85 for a room with king bed. The room was comfortable & clean. Breakfast in the morning had Mickey waffles! There was an outdoor swimming pool. I had no complaints.     Very loud rooms

    Room was comfortable and spacious. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Kiosk in the hotel was quite pricy but to be expected - $18 for two water bottles and a tube of Pringles. The issue was how loud the room was. You could hear every conversation from passing guests which was at all hours of the night with it being an airport hotel.     Saw a Live Roach in my hotel room on the first night I attempted to sleep in the room!

    I have never written a review on TripAdvisor but had to in this case because I feel disrespected as a paying hotel guest. I stayed at this hotel from Thursday, March 12th - Sunday, March 15th. I did not sleep in the room until Friday, March 13th because my athlete and I drove down to Tampa on Thursday afternoon for him to compete in a track meet. We drove back to Orlando on Friday evening after the track meet and arrived at this hotel at 10:00pm or so. I got settled first because the drive was long and around 1:15am when I came out of the shower, I saw a live roach crawling around in my hotel room. Keep in mind that we ate in Tampa before arriving at this hotel so no food was eaten in the room. I have stayed at numerous hotels at a lower scale than La Quinta and have never seen a live roach in any hotel room. I took a photo of the roach around 1:31am which ran to the side of my bed when it spotted me and went downstairs to complain. I showed the photo of the live roach to a La Quinta Employee by the name of Jeremy who handled me with respect and transferred us to another room. He told me that I would have to speak to Management in the morning.On Saturday morning March 14th, I went to the front office and spoke to the Manager Ms. Ramos. I told her about the roach and she said that she believed me and that there are roaches in Florida. Is that some excuse for a live roach to be in my room? I was then told that they would offer me a 15% discount off the first night. At first, it was fine but when I thought about it, I went back to the front office and asked her what 15% off my first night would be. She said $12.99 which was a slap in the face. I know that it's not her fault so I am not upset with her but this company needs to take accountability and $12.99 is not it. How could this hotel offer me a $12.99 refund off the first night when it was a live roach in your hotel room that was already there before I came? To give a full paying customer $12.99 back in this case is highly disrespectful and showing lack of customer care. On top of that, I was told to contact Travelocity to get the $12.99 that they refunded but Travelocity is now telling me that it was not applied. If I deserve $12.99 as a paying guest for your live roach crawling in your hotel room, you don't deserve another dollar of my money.People always ask me about which hotel to stay at when they travel and I always recommend La Quinta but never again! , Owner at La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Orlando International Drive North, responded to this review Dear Mr. Ambitiious, thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback.     Location good shuttle from hotel to Epcot & Universal only, reception staff pleasant . Room okay could do with a refresh, beds comfy, pillows comfy gym was closed disappointing .the breakfast was okay got very crowded as it’s a small area not enough seating . Our main problem was the noise from early in the morning till late at night doors slamming loud talking did complain to reception but nobody interested walls are very thin. The corridor smelled of cannabis even though rooms are no smoking. Check out was 11.00am no courtesy rooms available or rest rooms in reception or by the pool area which was a problem as we did not get picked up till 3.00pm.
