  Worth it for the location

  Worth booking for the Great location. This hotel is than 15 minutes from all the Disney parks. The front desk was very kind and welcoming. The room is a bit dated and the lighting needs to be updated as it is only lamps in the bedroom. The shower took a while to warm up but if you are patient it will get very hot. It does smell a bit like mildew but hard to find a hotel in Florida that doesn’t. If you are looking for a fairly clean cheap place to stay this is perfect for you. The WiFi was down when we stayed here but for us that wasnt a problem but o could see how for some people that could have been a major issue. Overall nice, cheap, decent pool, nice staff, and GREAT location.   This was no way by any means IHG quality. They have a very long way to go. The first room they put us in ( we are diamond elite) on the first floor they lock didn’t work so we had to switch rooms again on the first floor bc the elevator didn’t work and this was a motel prior so it has very unsafe outside facing doors with steps on the side. Like a motel 6. Also not in a great neighborhood. Icon Park is across the street and at night the music coming from the amusement park sounded like it was a nightclub next door. The toilet didn’t flush upon first walk thru of the room. It smelled of musty odor. The TV was mounted incorrectly it was tilted to the left 35 degrees. The water was lukewarm warm not hot.   By no means is this a Voco more like a Days Inn maybe…

  Rough stay for this diamond elite guest. It’s a motel not a hotel. Not to mention a very old motel that has been only moderately renovated. The restaurant if you want to call it that was horrible. Closed for some meals with an extremely limited menu. You can’t cook an egg to order? You can’t cook a cheeseburger to order? We stayed in several Vocos throughout Asia and Europe. Sorry but I’m shocked IHG has agreed to put the Voco name on this place. Wish you all the best but you really need to conduct a full review of every aspect of this place. IHG should come in also and give you guys some advice on how to meet the Voco name. Virtually no power outlets in the lobby if you want to call it that. Not at all a welcoming hotel like the other Vocos we have stayed at. Sorry y’all. This place should be a days inn or maybe it was?!!   Old motel

  This is a renovated motel that looks like it still needs to be renovated. My room was nothing like in the picture. It was a dark dingy room with very bumpy bed. It wasn’t dirty so that was good but it’s definitely low end. If you get a good price under $100 I would say it’s OK if you can’t get anything else, but I would not stay here unless I had to. Breakfast wasn’t any good by pool was nice. Some of the people here were a little sketchy, but if you’re sketchy, you’ll fit right in.   Remodeled Motel

  The online photos were very impressive where you don’t really notice that it’s an old motel that’s been remodeled. It’s certainly clean and updated. And the pool was very pretty. Just too cold outside to use it. Issues we encountered - I said I could do a second floor room if there was an elevator, but it was out of order and there is only one. Waited for a half hour to checkin as no one was at the front desk. The blankets in the room were awful. The “stuffing” in them were big balls rather than distributed through the blanket and very uncomfortable. They should pitch them and buy new. The bathrooms were nice with a spacious quartz counter and nice tile in the shower and I like the black accents. Just had an awkward placement for the door. It would be better as a pocket door. The room door has a keypad lock instead of a keycard which I liked.If I tried this place one more time, it would only be because I want to use the pool. The hotel seems overpriced for what you get.
