Set your expectations, then take them down.

    rating01 Apr 2026

Genuinely one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. And I travel a lot! Conveniently I also wasn’t sent the satisfaction survey upon checkout. Convenient! First room was okay. Firstly, let me say, I expected it to be not-the-best. You get what you paid for, and considering it was spring break, I didn’t pay a lot so expectations were low. That being said, I like my hotel room ceilings in tact, and not dripping water on my head when I go for a 3am pee (see photos).I was moved room the next day. No help offered, with a broken toe, but again, we move. You get what you pay for. And to be fair it was early and I’d imagine the receptionist was the only member of staff working. After moving to the second room I quickly realised there was no tv remote. I went to reception a grand of five time times over the next 8 days (saw four different members of staff) to ask if this could be sorted. Most of the receptionists were pleasant and helpful (none of which actually resolved the issue, but polite enough)…one snapped at me for calling her round from her office behind the reception stating “we don’t come round here” (I wasn’t) and then telling me that if I wanted a tv remote I’d have to move rooms (again, with a broken toe).No remote ever materialised. So I watched YouTube on my iPhone for the next 7 days.Rooms were clean very tired. The first room the bodywash had fallen off the wall and was just sitting in the bath, the second room was better but not great. The halls looked dreadful. The carpets were torn and stained and there were marks all over the walls where they’d filled holes but not actually painted. It honestly did look dreadful and I’d expect more from such a big chain and a recognised name.Breakfast was okay for a free hotel breakfast. Bagels and muffins, fruit and a choice of one flavour of yoghurt - my expectations were low but met. Sophia Stewart, Owner at Orlando Inn Near International Drive, responded to this review Dear Guest,We sincerely apologise for the challenges you faced during your stay. DONT BOOK!

    rating28 Dec 2025

While the location was convenient the place is HORRIBLE to say the least. First of all, the humidity smell in the rooms is intolerable, I had to ask for a change of room since the first one the smell was tremendous and it had mold in the walls and water coming from the floor. Second and most importantly, its INFESTED WITH ROACHES. On my first night I was awakened by a roach on top of me. And every other night there were many throughout the room and even the shower. There were so many every other night , that I decided not to eat from the morning breakfast at the hotel or have food with me in the room. Thirdly, the Noise Level is annoying, while you try to get some deserved and hard worked sleep time, you will hear all the banging doors from around, it doesn’t matter if you are a hard sleeper, You will hear it and feel the banging door too. Fourth, the constant marihuana and smoking smell can also be nasty, In between roaches running 24/7 , the mold, the humidity and on top of that smoke smell at the end you start to feel smelling and disgusting. Overall, Im very disappointed. I was looking forward not only to spend a short time with my family , but also to get some deserved work rest , since I have two jobs and vacations don't really come to me that easily. Its very disappointing to work hard all year , and pay for a service ( that btw is not the cheapest ) that felt like I was pilfered from not only money but from my resting time and good service. Sophia Stewart, Owner at Orlando Inn Near International Drive, responded to this review Dear Guest,I want to extend my sincere apologies for the numerous issues you experienced during your stay. This is certainly not the level of service we strive for, and I'm truly sorry for the inconvenience and discomfort it caused you. Your detailed feedback is valuable, and I assure you we will address each of these concerns with the utmost urgency. Rest assured that this is not representative of the standard we aim to provide. I'm grateful for your patience and understanding, and I hope you will consider giving us another chance to exceed your expectations in the future.

    Terrible Decision Staying There

    rating23 Apr 2025

They are so doggy and they have charged extra money for staying there even if our booking was included in taxes. They have never refunded $300 our security deposit yet. This hotel is still under construction and We had to wake up in the early morning with a drilling noise. Everywhere was a mess and dirty. It was a terrible experience and I had to take a legal action against them because I haven’t received my security deposit back. Sophia Stewart, Owner at Orlando Inn Near International Drive, responded to this review Dear Guest,We're truly sorry to hear about your experience. It’s unacceptable for any guest to feel misled or not receive a promised refund, especially amid construction and disruptions. Your frustration is completely understandable, and we regret that your stay was so disappointing. If you haven’t already, we recommend reaching out to the hotel's management in writing with full documentation of your booking, charges, and any correspondence. If legal action is underway, we hope it brings a fair resolution. Thank you for sharing your experience—your feedback is important and necessary.

DO NOT STAY HERE FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY!!

    rating15 Jan 2025

Managers name is Ann. She was completely disrespectful and rude she refused to help me with any of my needs. I stayed for two nights in this hotel and the second night I could not leave because I was in fear for my life. My kids would not leave the room. There was a man outside saying that he had a gun. He was breaking windows and threatening to kill somebody. He was banging on my door. I was in room 135 right next-door to the room that he was at if I had the choice to leave I would have left, but like I said, I was in fear for mine and my children’s safety. I was told that I would receive a $20 credit my stay was actually terrible. I’m not sure if there was an animal in my room before I was there, but there was feces all over the bathroom there was pee on the sheets, roaches crawling on my bed while I slept and the whole hotel itself was very disturbing. Sophia Stewart, Owner at Orlando Inn Near International Drive, responded to this review Dear Guest,We are distressed to see you unhappy and never want our guests to go back like this with an unpleasant experience. We are actively investigating your feedback with our management for prompt action. I hope this will not be your last impression of us and hope that you will reconsider staying with us in the future.

Horrible hotel with german cockroaches. AVOID

    rating14 Oct 2024

Ran from hurricane Milton with our cats and were lucky to find an available room at this pet friendly hotel. Looked fine on the outside. The room we were assigned was in terrible condition.....every metal surface had rust, ceiling had bubbled paint, some of the plugs did not have covers, fridge leaked, water damage in the bathroom area, vanity area, Can't fully describe how horrible this room was and we are not that picky. The worst of it is there were german cockroaches coming out of the baseboards. Now we are home and had to keep all our things in our car and fumigated it with a bug bomb. Hopefully this works as we certainly don't want to bring roaches into our home. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!! Sophia Stewart, Owner at Orlando Inn Near International Drive, responded to this review Dear Guest,We are sad to see you unhappy. On behalf of our entire team, I would like to apologize for the inconvenience you faced regarding the roaches. We will surely forward your valuable feedback to our team for improvements. Our Team hopes to serve you better next time. Please give us another chance to improve our services.
