Location

This 230-acre resort is located on a quiet street, in the heart of Orlando's tourist attractions. Disney is just a 15-minute drive away and Aquatica (5 minutes), Sea World (7 minutes) and Universal (12 minutes) are even closer, while the property is a 20-minute drive from the centre of Orlando and to Kissimmee. Shopping and dining options are just steps away on the famous International Drive. Surrounding attractions also include the Mall at Millenia (15 minutes) and Cocoa Beach (just over an hour). Orlando International Airport is just 19 km away.

Facility

The resort has 1501 rooms, which are located on 14 storeys and are reachable by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The resort has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. Guests of the resort are welcome to relax in the garden. Additional facilities include a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Other services include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service, a hairdresser and a hotel shuttle bus. Guests can also use the bicycle storage facilities. To assist guests with their business and communication needs, the business centre offers a fax machine.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. Guests can enjoy the view of the city from a balcony or terrace. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. There is also an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a games console, an alarm clock and WiFi are provided as well. A turndown service provides guests with additional comfort in the evening hours. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. A hairdryer, a vanity mirror, bathrobes and a telephone are available for daily use. Cosmetic products and a selection of towels provide additional comfort in the bathrooms. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. The resort has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

While the adults swim a few laps in the outdoor pool, children can enjoy splashing about in their own swimming area. Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub offer the perfect way to unwind. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The wide range of activities offered at the resort ensures that there is something new to do every day, including tennis, beach volleyball, volleyball, basketball, golf, a putting green and fishing. Water sports enthusiasts are offered canoeing. Sport and leisure facilities at the complex include a gym and table tennis. The wellness area features various facilities, such as a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a beauty salon, massage treatments, hydrotherapy treatments and a solarium. Parents can unwind while the kids can participate in an entertainment programme full of fun activities.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a breakfast room, a café and a bar. Guests can enjoy the culinary delights of the non-smoking, air-conditioned restaurant, which provides high chairs for children. A generous breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch and dinner, guests can choose between a buffet, à la carte and a set menu. Diet meals, gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available. The resort offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    We stayed 4 nights at the Shingle Creek and it was fantastic! The pool options were perfect. The lap pool is a great way to get in a workout while being outside. We rented a cabana one day when we had some local family visit us and it was perfect.The restaurants are top notch! We enjoyed the italian restaurant twice! The bartender, Bryon was very attentive, helpful and friendly. He made a custom drink based on a description of what my friend likes. He loved it! The Land steak house was delicious! We also enjoyed the homemade guac and a light mexican meal one night. Service was great everywhere we went.     Still dreaming about the pulled pork nachos at Cat-Tails

    This is our second time staying at Rosen Shingle Creek and we love it even more than the first time. The hotel, the grounds, the amenities, all stunning. The pulled pork nachos at Cat-Tails by the pool: 10000/10. We ordered them 2 days in a row. Check in was a breeze. We had an issue with the AC in our room making a loud rattling and banging noise and the front desk was super helpful and promptly moved us to another room. As a member of I Prefer we were able to get late check out which was a plus. Can’t wait to come back!     Very disappointed with our recent stay - May 14, 2026 to May 16,2026 - at Rosen Shingle Creek. Orlando. FL. The room fridge had no water available, there was no microwave in the room, and guests have to pay extra just to use the gym. On top of that, our visitors were charged $60 for parking in one day. For a resort at this price point, these added costs and missing basics are unacceptable.     Rosen Sales team can’t be bothered to respond

    What a shame that the Sales team at Shingle creek could not be bothered to answer my request for a quote for a 3 day stay at this great hotel, at which we’ve stayed previously. I sent a request to the sales team a week or so ago and received an acknowledgment e mail promising a response next day when this didn’t happen I resent the request again and again received an acknowledgment but still no proper response.It’s very disappointing that one of our favourite hotels in Florida could not be responsive, given that I’m still receiving promotional offers regarding staying at the hotel.     Great place to relax and unwind.

    The grounds are beautiful, the rooms big and there are a couple of pools and hot tubs which are very clean. The folks are very friendly and there are a few places to eat at this resort, slightly expensive but good food. The rooms are very quiet, we were there while the resort was hosting a convention. It was very loud in the area of the restaurants but everywhere else very relaxing. This is a great place to relax and unwind. Also a golf course is attached if you are a golfer.
