  The room smelled like mold and the tub had what looked like rush strains but the real problem was the ROACH greeting us at the door when we returned from the store. Immediately got our stuff and requested a refund. Then the front desk person tried not to answer the phone for the third party I booked through lucky I was still in the parking lot and went back in to tell him to pick up the phone. He was sitting right there listening to it ring.   Dirty rooms with thin walls and uncomfortable beds......and the night manager is incompetent.

  Avoid this place at all costs. The night manager was a complete moron. I'll explain....I stayed in room 506 with my son. The bathroom had bloody snot on the walls, and that was the least of the problems. The room had a door connecting to another room where we could hear every word and sound from their TV and from the obnoxisouly loud/drunk women staying there, especially when she was having very loud sex. Instead of complaining, I went to the front desk and asked the night manager to give us another room so we could get some sleep. I had to wait for 20 minutes while he discussed room options with another couple who was checking in. When I asked for another room, I was told they were sold out - a complete lie since I just heard him giving that couple several room options. Then he tells me he could only move us if there was something wrong with our room. So I told him it was too loud next door. He said that since its after 10pm quiet hours, he's going to call room 504 and tell them to be quiet or they would have to leave. I asked him not to do that because I didn't want any trouble with someone who was obviously drunk or otherwise out of control. He picked up the phone and told me he would not tell them who complained. Well, as soon as they asked him who complained, he told them it was us in room 506. I couldn't beleive it and told him so. He assured me we had nothing to worry about and that he would come upstairs to make sure. He never came upstairs and we had to spend the next several hours listening to that woman screem at and about us thru the crack in the connecting door and the thin walls, using all sorts of explatives and making all sorts of threats. So we quiety hunkered down to avoid having to deal with a violent psychopath. They were never asked to leave and we didn't get much sleep at all.   Very comfortable hotel. Location was great: just a few minutes from the airport! Room was big and clean. Receptionists were excellent: Kayla, Shayla and Emil. Service room was very good. Breakfast was pretty good: Yolanda provided excellent service; but the other employee had a bad attitude: I asked her to warm the water to make a tea and she refused to do it ("do it by yourself" -she said). In general, my wife and I enjoyed our stay there.

  Wonderful clean airport hotel!

  This was one of the best airport hotels I have stayed at in years. It was clean, comfortable and rooms were about double the size of other airport hotels. The breakfast was outstanding! It was a hot breakfast prepared on site which offered a wide variety of things including large sausage patties, fresh eggs and home made coffee cake. The coffee was magnificent, ground fresh before each pot. The hotel offered everything you could imagine including top quality shower gels, conditioner etc. it was only $60/night. I was able to save Uber expense as the city bus stopped next door ever 20 minutes and arrived at the airport a few minutes later. The area has restaurants and minimarts within the block, and is only a few blocks walk or bus ride to the train station as well. Staff is courteous and helpful.

  I have nothing but praise for this hotel. I spent 3 days there and was very pleased. They have a continental breakfast with REAL bagels, a coffee machine that makes espresso,cappuccino and latte. There is also homemade coffee cake. The hot food is either bacon or sausages and eggs. I really like the bathroom because they have dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, bath gel and hand soap. I had two queen bed room and the beds were very comfortable.The service was A-one. I wanted another chair in my room and it was brought up by the frontdesk person five minutes after I asked for it.For the price, it is the best bargain in Orlando. I highly recommend the Sonesta Essentials.
