3151 Paradox Circle, Unit 401, Orlando. FL.
18 Mar 2026
3151 Paradox Circle Unit 401 was listed at Airbnb. The host has a company rentandfun.com, I dealt with Facundo mostly. The balcony of this unit was covered in mosquito eggs, splashes of bird poop and various black markings. It seemed like it was not cleaned in a long time. The host did not acknowledge the issue and never cleaned it. Additionally, the listing pictures had furniture to sit 5 ppl in the balcony but only2 chairs were provided when we arrived. The internet in the unit was bad. It would work for 15 mins out of 60 mins in a hour or 40% of our 7 day stay. The host, Facundo failed to acknowledge the issue. The 4 pots Teflon coating were damaged with scratched surface, leaving the cooking to be not safe in those pots. One of the bed’s Frame was moving alot One toilet seat was broken and the toilet door won’t lock. It is a gated community but the gate was open 4 out of 7 days at certain times when we entered. Furthermore, we had someone knock out door 2 different times at night. Upon opening the door, no was there. Not sure if it was a prank. We did not feel safe. The pool and lazy river was nice. If you want to book this unit, please do due diligence to verify all the things inside the unit functions.

Marriott Homes and Villas Nova Vacations Disappointing
20 Feb 2023
Just returned from a two week stay at the 4725 Kings Castle Circle property in the Storey Lake Resort , the first time I have used Marriott Homes and Villas for such a stay. The experience was mixed and ultimately not what we expected from a brand such as Marriott. One thing that Nova Vacations (who manage the property for Marriott and the owners) are good at is collecting and chasing money, that is without a doubt. We had issues with an out of the blue email request for “refundable damage deposit” back in August 2022, it actually looked like a scam email, with Nova claiming its a Marriott requirement, Marriott stating this is a Nova requirement. This was finally resolved.Pre arrival, other than chasing monies, pre arrival information was non-existent, I had to send an email chasing pre arrival information a week from arrival (06th Jan) only to be told it would sent a week prior. An email was received 07th Jan with information, including requests for payment for pool heating and BBQ rental (this had to be done at least a week prior to arrival and we were already in that period!). This led us to paying out another US$660.00 within the week prior to arrival, this would have been much better being spread out in the months prior! We were also required to provide drivers licences for all those who might be driving through the gate house, more hassle a week before departure which was unnecessary (which by the way, there isn’t a manned gatehouse at this entry to the site and we never showed any ID at any point).Day of arrival, we arrived after a long journey around 1745 local, it was cold (mid 30’s F), the property was cold, very cold. We had no clue where the heating / cooling controls were, no information was provided, I emailed but did not receive any response until the following morning the information we did get at that time was wrong and by that time we had spent a very cold night using every possible bed covering we could fin to keep warm. In case the issue comes up again, the heating controls are upstairs in the landing lounge area disguised as box with “alarm” on it (not in the hallway as advised!). Not that it was much use in the master bedroom as the outlet vent had been covered up with a plastic bag so it was not able to let any heat (or cool air) out. The faucet in the kitchen was also broken (fixed by mx team the following day). Shower curtain in bathroom “fell down”.Day two, there was no information on how to lock the front door from the outside, trial and error make us work that one out too. We found a dining chair to be broken (only when one of us went to use it and nearly fell to the floor!), one of the loungers in the pool area was broken, there was a hole the pool screen about the same height as the broken lounger, the screen door to the pool area was unlocked, the BBQ was soiled and needed cleaning. Mx took the dining chair and the lounger away (they were not replaced). We found a cockroach in the master bathroom. The pool was cold, the “hot tub” emptied completely, it took until Thursday (Day six) for us to be really able to use the pool and hot tub. Not acceptable when renting a villa with a pool for two weeks.Day six (Thu), we returned from a day at the parks to find the pool area screen doors open and the patio door from the dining room wide open, no sign of anyone around, to leave the house open to anyone entering, with our property at risk is totally unacceptable. How can renters to be responsible for the property if it is being left open to anyone by the staff. Internet went off line at 1615 for a few hours.Day seven (Fri), Internet offline again.Day 8 (Sat), whilst most of us were out, someone arrived to pick up the BBQ, despite it being booked and paid for for the entire stay, thankfully one of our party was at the house and explained we needed it both weeks. Internet offline most of the evening (therefore no TV). Internet problems remained for the remainder of the stay with it dropping off line most days whilst we were there.Day 10 (Mon), Cockroach in main living area, did see “pest” control vans in the street, so not sure if this is a common problem or not, understand that they are around in Florida, but should not be in the house, maybe of the doors weren’t left open with the house empty they might not get in so easily!Generally the property is tired, blinds in the stairway and the main living were broken or missing parts. There is no information provided that renters could find useful (garbage collection details, recycling information, local amenities etc.). The villa accommodates a high number of guests, you would expect there to be sufficient glasses, cups, mugs etc to allow each person to have one!It is unlikely I would choose to book through Marriott Homes and Villas again. My expectations were much higher than you delivered, there is so much potential here to make lifetime memories, and this was a holiday of a lifetime for us. I’m afraid it fell way short of what was expected.
