The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The resort has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. A variety of shops are available, including a souvenir shop. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Further services and facilities include a babysitting service, a car hire service, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Facility

You get the benefits of sleeping in a tent coupled,with a world class resorts. It allows you to feel a millions miles away from city life but 10 minutes away from Disney experiences

We absolutely love Fort Wilderness. This was our fourth time here and we love it more every time we return. It’s clean, has wonderful amenities, & has the best family atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back again!

Jamaican lady at gaurd gate would not let us come in. Crazy. Even with a reservation. Then she messed up the reservation. Took hours to correct! Been here many times. Need a friendly person at the front!

Unfortunately, Ft. Wilderness has lost the wilderness charm and simplicity of yesteryear due to the development of a new resort in proximity to the FW Settlement area. The adjacent, magnitudinous resort infringes upon the settlement in a way that can't be overlooked and has clearly changed the experience. The size of the beach has been dramatically reduced and the adjacent resort bungalows are imposing and feel overwhelming. In addition, FW rents literally hundreds of golf carts and, with personal carts added to the increasing number of Disney carts, traversing the area can be challenging if not dangerous. Food selections at the Settlement eateries are limited. My wife and I arrived for a late breakfast one morning at 10:45AM, fifteen minutes before the end of breakfast time at lIAM, but we were told they were no longer serving breakfast. Times have changed; literally. Quiet hours are not quiet and the camping experience has expired. One positive is that the dog park was in comparatively better condition than it was during our visit in 2023. We decided our visit to Ft. Wilderness this year will be our last. Farewell.
