This beach hotel is located in the heart of Orlando. Its setting is especially ideal for parents with children.

Facility

The resort has a lift and features 1800 rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Film fans will find plenty of 'lights, camera, action' at the cinema. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. Rooms

    Great location for Volcano Bay, great Prices & Spacious suite

    Great location for Volcano Bay. No boats to theme parks or City Walk. Only buses which is ok except when returning at night.We walked across the street to Sapphire Bay & took boat to City Walk.Disappointed at no daily room service as informed at check in. Family suite was spacious, restroom layout excellent, comfortable beds (even sleeper sofa), great constant room temperature & spacious mini-fridge.Will return for our next Volcano Bay vacation.

    my family deserved better

    I would have to say nothing more than a conversation starter or a status symbol if best. I found it had nothing more than a standard hotel room with decor that you could find at Walmart. The pool area was an area that looked more like they pulled up grass and laid down sand, customer service well was almost lke you were taking too much of their time and should be using the app instead. The food is well. I have seen and eaten better at a mall food quart yet it is worse than school food. The price of food is so high it is not funny for three things I spent over $100 which I have never nor would ever spend anywhere but no other options within a reasonable distance were there. What we really found odd is when you get a drink it is only good for two hours as if you are renting it. This is the worst of the worst places and experiences I have ever had. You could not ever give me a free stay or anything to come back. Out of a scale of 1-10 one being poor ten being good I would give it a negative 100. I pity anyone who is there and beg all never to go get out while you can. The best thing this place can do is close for good and never open anywhere else.

    A lovely hotel for a great stay in America

    Cabana bay is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in , there are two big pools ,a slide, and a lazy river I mean what more could you want in the lobby there is a very cool milkshake shop which I definitely recommend the room that I stayed in had a great view of the pool and universals volcano bay all in all a great stag and didn’t disappoint Universal's Cabana Bay Beach, General Manager at Universal Cabana Bay Beach Resort, responded to this review Thank you for your review and for choosing Cabana Bay.     Security response to in-room theft

    Our four-night stay at Cabana Bay was satisfactory until checkout day, when my work phone was taken from our room while charging.Upon discovering the phone missing, I contacted security immediately. I was told I likely left it in the park, despite explaining it never left the room. My request to file a report was deferred, with a promise that a manager would respond within 30 minutes.After 45 minutes without contact, I went to the front desk. Staff confirmed the security manager was on site but stated he was too busy to speak with me. I had to depart for my flight without filing a report.The 2nd shift security manager called hours later. He stated a housekeeping associate had “accidentally taken” the phone and offered to mail it back, which I received days later.This explanation does not account for the phone being removed from its charger, nor for the attempted use of my digital wallet, which my bank flagged as fraudulent activity.The theft and the initial dismissive response from security are deeply concerning. I cannot recommend this property to guests who expect their belongings to be secure in their room.     Perfect for our family

    We are a family of 3, including our special needs adult son. We booked an internal family suite, requested a room close to elevator and near lobby area. Our request was granted. We ate dinner every night at bay liner diner (we had a $300 dining credit included in our package to use) which we thought was really good, didn’t have a bad meal in 5 nights. We ate breakfast in room with instacart food that we ordered and lunches in the parks. We tried out most of the stations and found the staff super friendly and efficient. We were a little concerned hearing about the wear and tear of the rooms but we found the rooms perfectly fine, beds comfy too maybe a bit too soft but that was ok with us. Pools were busy but my son enjoyed them!
