Facility

The resort welcomes guests in a 19-storey building with a lift and 408 suites. Guests are warmly welcomed by English-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities available at the resort include a baggage storage service, safe, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Rooms

The outdoor pool complex includes a children's swimming area and pleasantly heated water to ensure comfortable swimming. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. Sun loungers and parasols are available on the sun terrace. For guests who wish to keep active, tennis, volleyball and basketball are available. Water sports enthusiasts are offered canoeing.     We were at this hotel for a week in a small suite (apartment) with two bedrooms. The hotel was very comfortable, clean and quiet. The suite has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a small kitchen and a washing machine. The hotel has a relaxing pool and towels are always available. Customer service was very good. The location is very good, close to Icon Park and Universal Studios.     Staying here at present,arrived 30 April.next day went down for family swim,and the drugs being smoked weed all around the pool.had to get out and go upstairs.told staff at reception weren't to bothered.then 7 days later smoking at weed in hallways in lifts and landings the smell is sickening.ive another 6 days before I go home,and if it keeps happening I will get reception to ring police department.ive stayed here a few times now and wondering how they have let standards slip.     Great Option near the Epic Universe Park

    Had a great stay at Westgate Palace in Orlando. The suite was perfect for a party of four; spacious and comfortable. The location is super convenient, especially being right next to Universal’s Epic Universe park. We also appreciated the breakfast options at the hotel, which made mornings easy.     ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review – Westgate Palace Resort, Orlando, FloridaFirst of all, the location of Westgate Palace Resort is excellent. It is very close to all four Universal parks and surrounded by pharmacies, supermarkets, shopping centers, restaurants, and many attractions. It truly is a very convenient area for a family vacation.Upon arrival, the check-in process was quick and the staff was friendly. We chose to stay without attending the timeshare promotional presentation. Even so, they spoke highly of the resort, and we wanted to give it a chance.We were assigned a Signature Two Bedroom Suite because we needed a kitchen and oven due to our child’s medical condition, which requires a special diet. Unfortunately, the kitchen was extremely small and not functional. The utensils were practically on the same counter and sink due to lack of space. There were not enough supplies for cooking or baking. There were no proper frying pans—only Teflon pots without appropriate utensils (they only provided metal utensils, which scratch the Teflon and affect health). There was only one large stainless steel pot, and everything stuck to it.All dishes were glass, which is not family-friendly when traveling with children. There were four of us, yet the dining table only seated two and was very small.The master bedroom had a very small and uncomfortable bathroom. In addition, the washer and dryer were inside the master bedroom, so when we arrived late, we had to sleep with the noise of the washing machine running. The master bedroom also had no closet. The apartment design was honestly not very well thought out. The furniture is old, and the drawers get stuck.The children’s bedroom (with two twin beds) was comfortable, but it also had no closet—just a small wooden unit where even jackets did not fit.There is no daily housekeeping, and they also do not provide cleaning supplies to keep bathrooms and areas disinfected during the stay.For several days we heard bubbling sounds in the plumbing, as if it were clogged. The night before we left, we arrived around 12:00 a.m. and found both toilets overflowed(like something exploded, splashing) due to plumbing issues, with water on the floors and walls. It was an extremely unpleasant and exhausting situation, especially so late at night with children. The drains also emptied very slowly. This hotel definitely needs to seriously address its plumbing problems.In Tower B, the smoking areas are far too close to the main entrance. The smell entered the lobby and also vehicles when opening car doors. Some people were even smoking substances other than cigarettes. This is very uncomfortable when traveling with children or for people with asthma. I recommend moving the smoking areas farther away.I would like to recognize Front Desk Supervisor Tya, along with Andrea, for being very kind and trying to help by offering to move us to another room. However, it was already very late and we were extremely tired, so moving everything was not an option. They allowed us to use the bathroom in the room across the hall so we could shower in a clean environment, which we truly appreciated. And she did something to compensate us for the situation. The following morning there was some confusion anf we coukdt use the other bathroom in the new room with housekeeping, but eventually the housekeeping supervisor personally came and helped clean our bathroom. She was very helpful and understanding.Honestly, this experience was quite difficult. We had considered staying at another Westgate in the future, but after this, we are not sure we will.

    A Wonderful Hotel Experience

    My husband and I stayed at the Westgate Palace Hotel from January 21st–27th, our experience was wonderful. The front desk staff, Marlyn, John, Marcia, and Devi were very friendly and professional. We were upgraded at check in to a two room suite with a view of the lake and the city. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel doesn't offer complimentary breakfast but that didn't matter because their suites are equipped with a full size kitchen which enabled us to cook breakfast as if we were at home. The location is perfect and there are plenty restaurants within walking distance, Everything we needed was close by, which made getting around stress free. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay nd will certainly stay here again. I highly recommend Westgate Palace to anyone looking for hotel accommodations in the Orlando area.Fred M.
