    This hotel was excellent in every way. From the porter to the cleaning staff.. Food was delicious. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. Decor was fun and elegant.     Disappointing stay – would not recommendMain Concerns:1. Missing basic amenities: no room service, no microwave.Very slow or unfulfilled requests: over 1 hour for an iron; housekeeping never came (room not cleaned during 3-night stay).2. Security issue: room door left open after iron delivery.3.The food in the restaurant was also disappointing.Staff were friendly, and location (central) and room size were good. However, overall experience was not high-end.     I love the hip style of this hotel. Location is great - walking distance to all the tourist sites. Staff was friendly and efficient. I appreciated the early check in, upgraded room, and late check out. My room was spacious and comfortable. My only issue was the very loud HVAC. I had breakfast twice in the restaurant and both times it was disappointing.I highly recommend this hotel.     Loved the weekend stay at Canopy in Center City. Easily walkable from all the major attractions in this part of Philly. The staff are incredibly welcoming and attentive (shout out to Devoni, Felicia, and Brianna)! The rooms are tastefully decorated, very cozy, and clean. You have a repeat customer in me!
